Was floored by a $150 deposit. Even in New Orleans never pay this much. But it is what it is right? Hot water not so hot in sink. Toilet constantly runs but everything else was excellent

This location is older and somewhat run down. It has been given a small face lift. I personally will not be staying again. However the desk clerk Brandon was awesome. He was the only person at a busy front desk. He held it together very well.

When you want a refund
Front desk had to look for me a room that I guess the heaters didn't work in some. Was still placed in a room that heater didn't work. Wasn't transferred to a different room.. front desk gave me a small space heater

The rooms are okay. This is an old hotel. The rooms carpet needs to be changed and cleaned better but for the money it’s worth it. The beds nice and sheets clean. The resturant staff needs to be nicer. We had 3 people and only comped 2 breakfast vouchers. The one breakfast was $18 and that is ridiculous. Also this is the only hotel i have been that doesn't have complementary coffee. .

I want to thank Judy at the front desk. I forgot to purchase water and the store I passed was closed for the night. She said there was another store a few blocks away, but I guess she saw I was alone and she offered to get me a glass of water from the restaurant that was closed for the evening. Very nice of her. I was very appreciative.

Discepancy in amenities
The hotel was nice and clean.. the staff also was very helpful and courteous. The only problem was when we booked online it said breakfast was included but when we went to leave the hotel they gave us a bill for the breakfast. I showed them hotel.com website where it said breakfast was included. They compensated us but said that was an error on your website.

Better than the one in Abbeville. At least this room didn't stink of smoke and wasn't being renovated. A bit old looking. Room ok. Hard to find. Combined with a Clarion. Neighbors a bit noisy. Some seemed to live there. Towels had stains on them. mold on ceiling. Toilet whined.
