The cabin is centrally located between several “must-sees” in the Shawnee National Forest. Just of note there are no grocery stores within about 30 minutes of the cabin. “The grounds are beautiful. The property is rundown, but the managers are slowly renovating and are open to suggestions. The view of the river from the shared back deck was lovely, but our experience was spoiled by an inconsiderate guest chain smoking upwind from us.”

Easy set up, full kitchen, clean. The home fragrance is overpowering for my preference, you may love it. “Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it.”
