“We stayed here for a short overnight break - the welcome was warm & the accommodation was fantastic. It was very clean, comfortable & perfect for our needs. Complimentary soaps & shower gel were appreciated, as were the coffee/tea/biscuits which were good quality. The room was tastefully decorated & had a lovely calm feel to it. The bed was very comfortable & breakfast was fresh & delicious with lots of choice. Would highly recommend & we will stay here again.”

“Had a lovely one night stay. Richard and Karen were very good hosts. Room was nice, with a very comfortable bed. Good facilities, en-suite. Nice touch was the fresh milk in the fridge, just outside the room for tea and coffee, along with a couple of bottles of water. Also had a couple of bars of chocolate on the hospitality tray! Although property is in centre of town it is on a small side road and is very quiet. Parking is nearby, which Richard directs you to and is very reasonably priced....

“The property is on the banks of a stream with the constant sound of a waterfall which gives it a certain ambience. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly end helpful. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent. Convenient bus service to and from Huddersfield stopping right outside.”

“Very clean room, with a lovely deep bath and fresh milk provided for drinks. Delicious cooked breakfast included served by a friendly professional team. Great village location; we would be very happy to stay here again. ”

“Great welcome and communication by the people running the house, its tucked away in a quiet place with locked and safe parking behind a gate. Rooms were very clean and comfy but I didn't have any food which was kindly on offer so can't comment on that. Very friendly welcome.”

“Great breakfast”

“Patrick and his wife were very welcoming, the property is dated but comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay.”
