- In the heart of picturesque Rothbury, this charming spacious period property offers the perfect holiday home base to experience the beautiful Coquetdale valley. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you'll be amid Northumberland's breathtaking landscapes, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The famous Cragside House with its spectacular gardens and woodland is nearby, while the splendid River Coquet offers opportunities for salmon and trout fishing. The town itself boasts an array of quality eateries, friendly country pubs, art galleries, and quirky speciality shops. Day trips can include Northumberland's National Park, Kielder Water and Forest, the beautiful Heritage Coastline, or even the vibrant city of Newcastle. This apartment accommodates up to four people and welcomes one dog for your perfect stay.
This duplex flat combines period charm with modern comfort. Entering via a flight of stairs to the first floor, you'll find a spacious, light-filled lounge with ample comfortable seating, TV/DVD, and a cosy wood burner effect electric fire. The stylish bathroom features a fantastic freestanding bath and WC (no shower). The well-equipped kitchen/diner includes a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and washing machine, centred around a lovely dining area with a beautiful stone feature fireplace. Ascending to the second floor, you'll find a spacious double bedroom with ample storage space and wonderful views over the town and surrounding countryside. The accommodation is completed by a bright twin bedroom, also offering plenty of storage.
The lovely shared front garden includes a private seating area, perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying a good local ale or glass of wine after a day of exploration. Roadside parking is available, with free off-road parking just a short distance away.
