Our hosts were wonderful. Welcoming, informative. We loved our stay at their place. Breakfast besides the crackling fireplace warmed us up for our journey to all the DDay sites. Thank you both for your hospitality!

My son and I had an absolutely amazing stay here. The hosts were very accommodating, full of wonderful information about the places to see in the area and their knowledge of the Dday history was outstanding! It is beautifully constructed, comfortable and they are amazing people! We were sad to leave and cannot wait to come back here. Highly recommend. We got a lot more than expected!

Amazing , kind , helpful host. Jose lent me a bike for a bike ride and Ségolène made dinner reservations for us! Amazing house , people and stay! I highly recommend this stay!! The room and house itself is as depicted in the photos. I am definitely coming back

Segolene and her husband are wonderful hosts. She went out of her way when we had to leave early for a tour to bring us breakfast. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations we shared. She gave great recommendations for dinner and booked a table for us. The location is perfect for visiting Bayeux, Caen and WW2 sites. We loved the quiet, peacefulness of their property.

Wonderful short stay with welcoming hosts

A lovely restored farmstead in a quiet, location close to the D Day beaches. The hosts gave us plenty of local information which helped us organise our itinerary in an efficient manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Ségolène and José.

Beautiful Normandy

We just completed our driving tour of Normandy May 11, 2025. One of our stops for two nights was at "La Cour Souveraine" a beautiful country home 10km outside of Bayeux and centrally located for visiting all the D-Day beaches. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and convenience, but more importantly the pleasant greeting we received on our arrival. Our host, the Pemjean family, were most helpful in making our consideration of the D-Day invasion of 1944 complete. They have a passion for sharing their knowledge of that fateful day June 6, 1944. The old farmhouse has been renovated and offers 1st class accommodations. They served a light breakfast with fresh, from their yard, apple juice along with meats, cheese and baguette. You will enjoy the Normandy countryside while being immersed in the many museums and memorials to the fallen soldiers sent to liberate Europe.

A wonderful stay

Our stay at this beautiful location near Omaha Beach was truly unforgettable. The home was tastefully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern comforts, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. Its location was ideal—just a short drive to Omaha Beach and Bayeux, allowing us to easily visit the historic site and city.

Warm and welcoming, full of character and charm

Arrived at night and loved the lit up historic buildings. The stay felt like a true Normandy French experience. The hosts were warm and they did all that they coiuld to make our stay memorable. Breakfast was amazing.

Two nights in Normandy.

The property is absolutely perfect and was exactly as described. The only hitch was that when we arrived, the driveway gate was locked and when we rang the bell it was some time before it was opened. It turned out neither of the hosts was there, but the husband host’s niece was. She was very nice but it wasn’t clear she was expecting us. We had been told to expect the husband. She spoke serviceable English (but no French) and showed us our room. From that that moment on the stay was impeccable. The hosts were very kind and we had a simple but delicious breakfast both mornings. The building is a wonderful renovated farmhouse, with some interesting additions (pool table, pinball machine). Overall this place is a 5/5.and I would recommend highly.

we hadden een heerlijk verblijf op een mooie locatie met prettige kamer, goed ontbijt en bijzondere sympathieke en hulpvaardige eigenaren. we waren wel wat teleurgesteld in het feit dat de zitkamer, waarvan op de site aantrekkelijke foto's stonden, niet echt bedoeld bleek voor de gasten (temeer daar onze kamer geen zithoekje had waar we 's avonds gezellig konden zitten).

The place is a lovely farm house with rooms that have are comfortable and modernized. The hosts are lovely, welcoming, and provide a delicious breakfast with home made jams and juices. The location is perfect if you have a car to see all of the D Day locations and museums.

Chic and Elegant

A very well thought out and stylish place to stay. A very welcoming family run business in a fabulous location in a tranquil setting and incredibly well priced. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated, with crisp linen and and a powerful shower. Our host provided homemade conserves and juice for breakfast which added another dimension to a fabulous stay. Ségolène and her family are wonderful hosts and we will definitely be recommending her to our friends.

Prachtige plek om de D-day stranden te bezoeken

Hele mooie en rustige locatie. Dichtbij alle bevrijdingsstranden, dus ideaal om deze te bezoeken. Je hebt wel een auto nodig! Kamer is heel erg ruim, mooi en schoon. Het internet/wifi was zwak, goed om rekening mee te houden. Wij hadden deze B&B voor meerdere dagen geboekt, vooral omdat er op Vrbo-site de beschikking over een gameroom stond vermeld. Dat sprak ons aan, vooral als je een hele dag op pad bent geweest en in avond wat wil relaxen. Helaas was deze gameroom doorgaans gesloten en kon je er alleen op verzoek/in overleg verbruik van maken. Achteraf hebben we gezien dat dit op de eigen website van de B&B wel duidelijk vermeld staat. Wij vonden hierdoor, zeker in combinatie met zwak internet en het feit dat je niet op loopafstand van een dorpje zit, de avonden hier wat tegenvallen. Verder alles top en vriendelijke eigenaren!
