“Warm friendly check-in and room was spacious and clean. Room heater was on so made for warm night in from cold frosty weather outside. Not stayed with days in for many years and I found it very pleasant and good value. ”

“Welcoming staff, personal service from a relatively small hotel. Room was great, hotel also had a complementary taxi sercice to and from events centre on site, which was very welcome as the weather wasn't the best. Breakfast was served quickly by attentive staff. Will definitely be stopping again.”

“Easy check in, lovely room with high ceilings. All amenities that we needed for an overnight stay. Clean and tidy but with a few aging marks (cabinets missing edging, curtains not fully hooked up the curtain rings making it hard to close curtains) Breakfast was lovely and plentiful to power us through the next day. Location was central for our needs. We parked at St Nicholas Car Park for pricing and ease (£12 for 24 hours)”
