“Away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist spots. Lacking amenities as it is an older building with very comfortable and clean accommodations. No hair dryer and minimal lighting and plug ins, but so worth the location and comfort. The market has the best prices lobster meals. Check the hours of the store before arriving as we missed out on that benefit. Would love to return! ”

“Beautiful fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators. Bathrooms were very nice and spa like. Plenty of space for everyone. We were up for our daughter’s wedding and there was enough space to get ready and prep food. Parking was limited, owner has a cabin on property. She was accommodating as she was traveling during our stay.”

“Bed was comfy, house was beautiful and the location was perfect for us! Half way between Bar Harbor and Northeast harbor made it auper rasy to get whatever or do whatever we wanted without the town crowds. And Kimberly was a great host, very responsive and welcoming!”

“Bill and his wife were very down to earth, awesome people! My kids loved playing with their dog Murray! Bar Harbor was about 15 minutes away from the home, and everything else was very close to the house as well! Overall great location and stay!! ”

“This was a lovely place to stay. It’s located in a quiet rural area that was only about 20 minutes from Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. This basement apartment was spacious, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. It looked to be newly renovated with quality materials and appliances. While there was no standard oven, the microwave is also a convection oven/air fryer, which worked out just fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and were able to relax each evening after fun days exploring the area. ”

The hosts were extremely friendly and the apartment was everything we could have wanted.JF and Sue provided us with many suggestions as to what to see on Mt. Desert island and these suggestions became a large part of our itinerary. We will treasure the memories and would strongly recommend booking this apartment.”
