Resort a Mount Desert Island

“Personale accogliente e gentile. ”

“Excellent place to stay, beautiful, scenery, friendly staff, exceptional, dining, and room was wonderful. Bed was very comfortable.”

“Christopher was a lovely host! The hotel was better than I expected. The outdoor areas for room were a great surprise. My favorite part of the stay was the two spectacular cocker spaniels. I love them.”

“Struttura e camera bellissime! Posto eccezionale!”

“Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Excellent location & in walking distance of downtown area.”

“Wonderful breakfast. Location was great walking distance to everything. Close to ACADIA NP. Staff was welcoming”

Consigliatissimo.”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.”

“Beautiful place to say quiet location downtown Bar Harbor, easy to walk and get to anything. The staff was super friendly. Will be staying there again”

“Convenient location for the town centre, rich breakfast although very crowded. Children's playground and heated pool. Unfortunately the sound insulation in the rooms is very bad. Do not take rooms on the ground floor because you will hear all the footsteps from the upper rooms and you will sleep poorly.”

“The breakfast was life changing. 🙏”

“We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...

“Cozy, charming cottage a short drive away from Southwest Harbor and Echo Lake Beach, as well as within easy access to all of Acadia. The house was very clean and well-kept, and the outdoor space, including the fire pit and grill, was great. Robbin was also an amazing host, both friendly and communicative. Would definitely stay again!”
