Welcome to your own lakefront oasis in the heart of Mount Dora! Our charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom home boasts stunning sunset views over Lake Dora with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

Pontoon boat reservations are based on availability and boating experience.

Come enjoy the best of Florida living at our lakeside retreat!

The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals and the dining area has plenty of seating for family and friends to enjoy. The living area is cozy and inviting; great for relaxing after a day of exploring the town.

Step outside onto the expansive deck to enjoy the warm Florida sunshine and picturesque views of the lake. It is sure to become your favorite place for outdoor dining or just lounging and taking in the scenery. The dock on the lake is a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail shared with friends around the fireplace table.

With three beds that comfortably accommodate up to six guests, this home is ideal for families or couples traveling together. There is a portable twin bed that can be made available for a seventh guest.

Not only will you be on beautiful Lake Dora, but this home is located mere steps away from the heart of downtown with its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and year-round festivals.

Since it is a duplex with one unit upstairs and a nearly identical unit downstairs, they may both be able to be rented together for larger parties wishing to stay together while still having the privacy and comfort of separate homes.

Inquire about renting our pontoon boat, bikes, and kayaks to explore the lake and town.

Amazing experience

The property is beautifully maintained and the location is perfection. The updates and decor are tasteful and thoughtful. The views are stunning and we walked to all of the local shops/restaurants. The owners were lovely and very helpful. I woulddefinitely stay at this location again

#1 Upon arrival there was no info on how to access the apartment !#2 we arrived at night there wasn't lighting to access the entry walk with sketchy walkway#3 no guest book or info on availability of wifi #4 Rental mentioned availability of water craft which didn't exist!#5 zero response from property manager on messages.

Best Sunsets in Mt Dora

This was our 2nd year staying at quiet Mt Adorable and by far, the best rental in Mt Dora with its spectacular sunsets and amazing wildlife right in your own back yard. Just across the street are restarant’s, shops, festivities, boat and town tours, wildlife walks and super friendly people.

Great Location!

This home is in the BEST location with a beautiful view of Lake Dora. We parked our car and didn't move it for our entire stay! The home is very clean and spacious and the owners were friendly and responsive. It is worth noting that the backyard is not exactly semi-private. It is communicated and understood from the listing that the dock/seating area is shared with the upstairs renters; however, there were many people walking through the property all throughout the day getting on and off of boats. Parking in front of the house became congested from this as well. We came to the conclusion that the boats are rented to people who are not staying in the property. Additionally, two ladies hung out in the back seating/dock area for hours laying on the couches, etc. as they welcomed new boaters and greeted returning ones. This wasn't a huge issue but it definitely added an element of oddness as we were not expecting so many people coming and going from the property and using the dock/seating area beyond the upstairs renters. This prevented us from using that space as we had hoped. The final noteworthy item is that the walking from upstairs is VERY loud. We had a child jumping around until the very late hours of the night. This is noted in another review and I would agree that it can be a little disturbing especially if you are trying to sleep :). All in all, the positives strongly outweigh the negatives and we would consider staying here again - just maybe upstairs :).

The host is rude, disrespectful, and definitely a Karen. We accidentally went into the wrong part of the duplex, it was dark and not enough specifications about the upstairs Vs. Downstairs. Instead of asking us to pay the cleaning fee, or understand it’s an honest mistake, she came angry and made up a story that we did a 3rd party booking, and that she didn’t want to speak to us, she’s canceling our reservation, and won’t give us back the money. We tried to express our apologies, she was just nasty and processed to lock herself in her car, as if we would harm her, we didn’t even engage in her rudeness, but she acted as if she was the big bad wolf with a phone. We had to go to a near by inn and book last minute rooms, costing us way more just to stay. My family was visiting for the first, and her tacky behavior made them feel unwelcome. Mount Dora is such a beautiful city, with lots a love for everyone regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs. She never even started her name or title, so we don’t know who she is exactly in relationship to the property. She was just a horrible human being.

Lake Dora gem

Property was as listed. Steps away from a lovely downtown area. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Outdoor space is very nice. Enjoyed watching the wildlife from the dock. This property has 2 units so you share some outdoor space, we never felt this was an issue. If you are sensitive to noise I suggest renting the upstairs unit. We were in the bottom unit, you can hear footsteps from above. I look forward to visiting again.

Mount Dora Getaway

We enjoyed our short getaway vaca in iconic Mount Dora. Condo was comfortable and has a beautiful view of the lake & is walking distance to Mt. Dora’s plentiful restaurants and shops in the downtown area.
