“We didn't receive any check in information. I messaged the host the day of our stay and requested it. Upon arrival the entire house smelled strongly of mildew. It was incredibly pungent. When I pulled out the sofa bed for our son, it was covered in dead insects. The home did not appear clean.”

“There were plenty of beds and space. It was clean and comfortable. it had plenty of dishes, and we appreciated that there were laundry facilities. It was an easy drive to all the places we wanted to get to in New River Gorge National Park.”

“The fenced-in yard was good for our dog. Communication with the owner was excellent. The house is nice, and the yard is neat. There was plenty of room to park on the gravel driveway. Be sure to bring a sleep mask if you like to sleep in a dark room because the plastic miniblinds let in a lot of light from the nearby streetlight. The house is in a fairly busy neighborhood. We highly recommend The Char for a nice meal. It's only 6 minutes away. The menu is a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth...
