“Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”

“Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

Overall the stay was comfortable.The stay was worth the money I spent for two nights.There are porcelain cups and bowls with few spoons.But you may carry plates if you wish to eat something.It would have been much better if they had repaired the wall mounted heaters to warm the room because the weather was cold.Instead there was the portable heater which took much time to heat up the...

“le finestre non chiudevano bene e c'erano spifferi d'aria non trascurabili. in seguito ad un guasto alle prese elettriche, segnalato in mattinata, non è stata fatta alcuna riparazione e in serata ci è stato proposto di cambiare camera. fatto il check out la sera precedente la partenza, al mattino è stata proposta una nuova fattura da pagare (per errore, l'ennesimo)”

“Staff very friendly and helpful, the room was in poor repair without a main light and the extra bed was broken.We are non smokers and they gave us a smoking room that stank of cigarettes smoke.”
