“Nice owners, pristine accommodations, very safe rural neighborhood, beautiful landscaping. We only stayed one night on our way to see friends, also visiting the big island. So we didn’t explore the area much. But it’s not far from the volcano and even closer to the hot springs and petrified forest.”

“This is an out-of-the-way gem (but easy to get to). Clean, and close to shore to hear waves crashing. Host was superb! Unit was smaller than expectation. Hard to use luggage rack and move around. Not so certainly about "see whales and dolphins" - but maybe it was wrong time of year. Checking and communication with host was great (5/5)!”

“Property was located in close proximity of the valcano which is exactly what we wanted m. Was very quiet on a dead-end street. The house, which I believe was a converted barn needed a bit of TLC. Could have used a few ceiling fans or some type of fan to move air around as it did not have A/C. Screen on the sliding door did not function but if we could have opens this door, would have helped add a bit of air movement.”
