“Beautiful place”

“Rooms were clean and spacious! Front desk staff very helpful! Didn't like loud doors closing in morning and late night....not the guests fault...just hard to close without making noise!”

“We did the grab and go breakfast, which is very basic. Nice that they have it but nothing to get excited about.. the property and the history of the property is fascinating. I loved being in a building that was existing during the battle of Gettysburg. We were in the Wetly house. ”

“Room was clean, and it is a convenient location for a very low price relative to surrounding options. The breakfast selection was pretty rough, and the dining room had a funky smell. But the room was so cheap we just justified going to a nearby diner for breakfast instead.”

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

“Innkeepers Heidi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. Dan met us as we arrived and walked us into the inn. Heidi got us checked in and gave us a tour of the manor and showed us our room. We stayed in the Emily Rose which was a perfect size for just two of us for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The entire inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. Some of the other rooms were unoccupied which gave us a chance to see them and they were all very clean looking as well. I...

“Overall an ok hotel but for $235 it wasn’t worth it. The room had a smell and the WiFi didn’t work in my room or anyone’s rooms that we traveled with. It would connect and drop, connect and drop. I informed Expedia and Expedia called the hotel but the front desk guy hung up on them. The breakfast was fantastic though. I won’t stay there again”

“My overall experience was wonderful. Located in close proximity of Gettysburg historic sites and restaurants. The breakfast staff Beverly made sure the food was too my liking.”

“The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

“From start to finish the ladies there are wonderful. Millie checked us in at 12:00am and she was so nice. Shell, Venus and Angie, did a great job at the front desk and the breakfast bar. They were always friendly, kind and smiling. Cristal was our maid and she is so kind and considerate. It’s not the newest or fanciest place to stay but it is definitely the warmest and friendliest.”

“The place was quaint but tired, floor creaked and a/c basically didn’t cool the room. Felt safe and like parking right in front of room and the chair outside allowed some fresh air. However, I noticed that you have to pay to get ice from the ice machine and that’s just cheap. Also, the linens were threadbare, and the towels were sandpaper rough. For the price of the room, I expected more. A smart TV would have also been nice”
