“We checked in around 1am on Friday/Saturday March 20/21. The first impression with the front desk agent was poor. She wasn’t pleasant. Her face showed like she didn’t care. No smile. It’s really not difficult to be pleasant and it is expected at a higher end hotel to receive at least better than average service. She was doing some paperwork and honestly seemed put off by us. She was wearing a sweatshirt and no name tag. Our stay included breakfast the next morning. She said she would usually...

“Staff acted as if we were bothering them. Wildly uncomfortable beds. Noisy hallways. Stay somewhere else. This place is not all it brags to be.”

“Historic building with spacious rooms. Amazing hall. Maybe too expensive the valet parking but the attendant inform correctly that a public parking is close to the hotel. The position is fantastic: close to everything but easy to get from highway. Nothing else to write, I’m happy to have been to this great hotel!”

“No issues with our stay. Hotel was very clean and quiet. We’ll definitely stay here again. Only downside was the pool was closed for maintenance. ”

“My room was on the 7th floor. The shower drained slow. There was NO fitted sheet on my mattress! Curtains were falling apart. Brochures were wrinkled like water had previously spilled on it and dried from a previous guest. There were no trash liners in my room for the duration of my stay. For the price it was NOT worth booking. The Starbucks downstairs was out of everything basically. The peep hole in my room was missing the cover. ”

“Dirty room- pair of pantyhose under the couch bandaid on the night stand. Stains on the pull out sofa and sofa cushions ”

“AC Hotel was definitely a 4.5 star in our view. Clean room, comfortable bed and an amazing overhead hot shower, nuff said plus 50" plasma. The location is also prime in downtown Pittsburgh near the Convention Center which is where we were attending. Just an awesome hotel and a very fair price. I. Sosa”
