“Perfect! We happened to stay on the first two nights that the resort was opened. While they were finishing the last minute touches(literally) we enjoyed every bit of this place! The pool, hot tub, sauna, beach, fire pits, waterfront! So calm in the morning and the view from our balcony was to die for! “Clean bedroom and facilities. Nice breakfast including biscuits and gravy! Welcoming staff. The pool area had some maintenance work going on but pool and hot tub were open. We liked the side deck and fireplace where you can see the sunset from. Better than expected for the price!”

“The Holiday Inn Express in Acme (Traverse City), Michigan, is a great place to stay when you plan to sightsee around the city. The rooms are neat with the basic amenities, the staff is friendly and responsive, and the breakfast is tasty and served on time. The variety is typical, but served nicely. “The room itself was ok, you could tell maybe new flooring and updated bed frame, but the rest of the room seemed old and outdated. The only staff I came in contact with was the person at the front desk when I checked in, she was very nice. The beach and the outside property were really nice. Great view. Spa tub was old and rusty, the bathroom was not the cleanest and could use some updating. The shower for sure was old and outdated.”

“I loved the price for the week. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is only a short walk to the beach. We road our bikes downtown traverse city and it was only 30 minutes. Located 30 to 45 mins to sandunes and torchlake. Overall great experience. Great fishing spots in walking distance.”

“Seemed kind of run down but we had no other options. Spend the extra $ and at least go to Hampton inn, if beach is t that important. Very hard beds, no extra pillows for the hard bed”
