“It was quiet and just close enough to downtown. Smelled nice inside our rooms and balcony views were nice!”

“I loved how the hotel was right on the lake we great sunset views. I also liked the boxed breakfast delivered to your room at your specified time.”

“I appreciate the service; the staff were very friendly. The hotel exceeded my expectations—it is beautiful. I loved going down for my morning coffee—the espresso was my favorite—as well as the cleanliness of the room, the balcony, and the spectacular view. I hope we can return someday.”

“Perfect! We happened to stay on the first two nights that the resort was opened. While they were finishing the last minute touches(literally) we enjoyed every bit of this place! The pool, hot tub, sauna, beach, fire pits, waterfront! So calm in the morning and the view from our balcony was to die for! Unfortunately, we were in town for a softball tournament so we couldn’t spend as much time at the resort but from the staff, to the rooms, it was all perfect! They definitely have a good thing...

“Check in was easy, room was clean. Comfortable bed. Small fridge which was a plus. But the AC unit was loud. For breakfast, go earlier. Not many choices. One day omelet was very salty, it was impossible to eat. We didn't use pool or gym, but they both looked clean.”

“They staff was very helpful and the location was great, a good breakfast and next door there is a good bar, with food!”

“Everything was great, but every time you want coffee it’s empty. One cannester. Either a lot bigger or two or something different”

“I loved the price for the week. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is only a short walk to the beach. We road our bikes downtown traverse city and it was only 30 minutes. Located 30 to 45 mins to sandunes and torchlake. Overall great experience. Great fishing spots in walking distance.”

“Bad: Shower ran out of hot water after 5 minutes, the breakfast coffee was brown water, and I had to wait ~10 minutes to check in just because there was no one at the front desk and nobody was answering the phone (I tried calling the hotel from the lobby while waiting to check in). Good: location, and they went above and beyond for my daughter when she asked for a notepad to write on.”

“The room itself was ok, you could tell maybe new flooring and updated bed frame, but the rest of the room seemed old and outdated. The only staff I came in contact with was the person at the front desk when I checked in, she was very nice. The beach and the outside property were really nice. Great view. Spa tub was old and rusty, the bathroom was not the cleanest and could use some updating. The shower for sure was old and outdated.”

“Our stay was great. Everything was comfortable and for the most part clean… but our bathroom wreaked of urine as soon as we got in to the room and the smell never left. When I looked around the toilet, there was pee all over, I think the seal is bad on the toilet. I ended up spraying around the bottom with hand sanitizer and lining it with towels. It still smelled terrible. Other than that, great hotel! Easy check-in and out. No other complaints.”

“Seemed kind of run down but we had no other options. Spend the extra $ and at least go to Hampton inn, if beach is t that important. Very hard beds, no extra pillows for the hard bed”
