“The rooms are ok but the staff is great, especially Amber, and if you get a good housekeeper that’s huge. They offer a nice breakfast but not many dairy free options so I was unable to enjoy it. No dairy free milks, yogurts, or fresh fruits if you are vegan or have a dairy allergy and that’s a bummer however they do have around the clock hot coffee which was a bonus.”

“I am not a hotel snob. I usually know what I am getting myself but this hotel was just something else. So much so that my family only stayed 1 night instead of the 2 we booked and drove back to our home. Room 28 smelled like cigarettes, there was chipping paint on the walls, mold on the bathroom walls, spiders in the corner of the wall. The beds, when you pulled the covers back were disgusting. “The staff were very helpful and happy. Upon arrival, the individual at check in gave all the helpful information about the building. Very family friendly and a great price.”

“The room was fine, and had a microwave and fridge. The shower was slippery, and water splashed everywhere because there was nothing separating it from the floor. The residents staying there would make most people uncomfortable. I believe several of them lived there. There was a lot of traffic in and out; people were sleeping in their cars, and working on cars in the parking lot.”

“The overall hotel is not bad it’s ok. My only complaint would be the room is a little outdated and the beds definitely need to be replaced. Prices could have been cheaper too.”

“Hotel was clean enough. But not CLEAN. The dust was noticeable on fixtures in the hallway, elevator was dirty. Pool tiles were missing and had a film on them. Bathroom sink was clean but shower had mold. Bed was super comfy. Pillows were great. Breakfast was good. I would stay again if passing through, but wouldn't go out of my way to stay there.”

“My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back.”
