“What an amazing find…a beautifully maintained hotel in the heart of one Scotland’s most beautiful places. The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. “We stayed two nights and loved the place. Charming, authentic, cool place with lots of space to relax. Old but that’s the point as has some history. Walking distance from ferry as we were on foot. Food offerings were great and well prepared. Staff very friendly and accommodating. No rigid rules and they always found solutions. Beds comfortable, amenities were good. Would recommend for sure. ”

“This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”

“What a beautiful and wonderful place to stay. The view is unparalleled and the room, overall, was my favorite of all of the places we stayed on this vacation. I would absolutely stay here again. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the shower - perfection. Tea and biscuits every morning and they even gave me extra, when I mentioned how much I liked them. All in all, I loved it. Highly recommend.”
