“Cabin is adorable and location is beautiful. However, the owner says the heat goes on in “am and pm” which is a stretch. The heat goes on for about an hour in the evening and in the morning. The cabin is the sane temperature as the outside. It was 9 degrees centigrade and the little coal stove could not warm the bedrooms, kitchen or bathroom. We had to check out early and find a hotel because our kids were freezing. I tried to contact the owner when we arrived but did not answer the phone. Just...

“The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Plenty of space, even an outdoor space to enjoy coffee in the morning. Clean and well stocked. The owner was helpful when we couldn’t figure out the oven! Would stay again!”

“Excellent location. Interesting walks from the door. Good views when the mist lifted. Comfortable sitting room. Well stocked with kitchen equipment. Communication when arriving was good. Gillian, who met me, was helpful, friendly and efficient and gave me some good advice about the area. Matresses were a bit basic. Some of the furniture was quite tired and a bit shabbby nb the bedside cabinet/tables. Downstairs bathroom was quite functional - rather barrack room tiles. Overall however a good...
