“Wow! What a great experience this was. I love how when I walked in the hotel I immediately saw smiling faces and a poster of President Obama in the corner. It was right on brand for my stay as I was visiting the Obama Presidential Center for the Grand Opening weekend. The breakfast was delicious and I love that we had a space to park at the hotel. This hotel was convenient for my commute in Hyde Park. I will be back. Thank you, staff for your service and kind hospitality!”

“The room was utterly despicable, and the only staff member who tried to help me was off the clock. I didn't even stay for breakfast, let alone five minutes. The second I walked into the room, I was appalled. I immediately took pictures, and left for the better hotel across the street. There were smushed dead bugs and dirty handprints on the walls, and handprints all over the mirrors. The floor was sticky and covered in hair. The beds were dirty and had hair in them. “I think the advertisement was misleading because they didn’t state that it’s under construction. The hallways smelled of marijuana and the beds are extremely hard. The refrigerator in my room was very dirty.”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel was so disgusting that I feel obligated to warn other travelers. From the moment we walked through the front doors, I was horrified. The carpet in the lobby and hallways was absolutely filthy. I have never seen hotel carpet in such poor condition. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and made an awful first impression. “The room was clean. The gentleman at the front desk who checked me in was absolutely wonderful. Ordered dinner in from a local restaurant that makes incredible jerk chicken. I happened upon this during my travel across the country. What a great place to stay. Thank you so much for all the hospitality!”
