Rilassati e goditi il fiume in questa bella cabina con 6 camere da letto situata proprio sul fiume Little Missouri. Sarai sicuro di vedere la natura al suo meglio.

We rented the River View Hideaway for a family getaway to spend some time together. Despite the fact that it rained most of our stay, we had a great time. The cabin was very clean, spacious with a great layout for big groups to enjoy and still have privacy. The view and outdoor area was so beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely go back!

First, the fridge malfunctioned. The defrost pump was stuck on and sounded like a freight train for hours. Multiple other reviews mentioned the iced over freezer and clearly it was never addressed because it completely broke. The host did not respond to myiInitial request for help on the app. I then called him, he assured me that he would send someone out. Then he responded through the app as if we hadn’t just talked on the phone. No one came to address the fridge which ultimately had to be unplugged to de-ice. Then the power went out on the property. We were in remote Arkansas with no power, minimal cell service, 2 small children without lights/flashlights or a way to stay warm. We called the host to let him no, but he basically said “it should be back on any minute”. We called the power company ourselves and there was not estimate time to fixing it. It was out for hours and so we finally had to leave because it was unsafe for us to stay in the dark and cold. Host stopped responding to me and then would not respond when I told him I needed a refund since we had to find alternative lodging.

We had great time with family and friends! The cabin was large enough for our whole gang, and was nicely equipped and comfortable. The deck was fabulous and the kiddos loved playing in the river. The proximity to Crater of Diamonds and crystal hunting was great. There were only 2 issues that resulted in the 4 star review instead of 5. First, the windows in our bedroom did not have screens. The weather was so perfect and cool at night and I love to open windows to let in fresh, cool air, but I couldn't because there were no screens and I didnt want bugs to get in. Secondly, there was another cabin pretty close by, so it wasn't as secluded as I would have liked. Those are minor issues though, and overall we loved it.

Clean. Beautiful inside and out. Perfect location. Well supplied. We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin on the river. We enjoyed playing shuffle board and cards and fishing (no catching). The forest and the river and the weather could not have been better. The steep drive is a bit of a challenge but just take it slow. We hope to return again. Thank you for sharing this place with us.

Spacious cabin that accomodated our large family. We enjoyed the nature scenery around. All the seating indoor and outdoor. The firepit, the grill, the shuffle board table. We enjoyed it all.

The property is designed for big groups and gave us some room to spread out. The driveway needed grading and was a bit tricky before and after the rain. The stove needed cleaning and the freezer was full of frost and didn’t seal well. The main ceiling fan never worked and no one ever came out to fix. The grill was cheap and was fine for four people but would not be big enough for any additional people. There were cobwebs all over the house and several big spiders in the house. AllOf this was disappointing.

The house was beautiful.The host answered all our questions within minutes.Plenty of room for our large family. Kitchen was well stocked. A 12 cup coffee pot and a kcup. The back deck and river was awesome. The grandchildren and adults enjoyed the river every day. The driveway is a little ruff but if you take it slowly its not a problem. Nice quiet area.

Plenty of space

We enjoyed staying here. We had 10 in our group and we had more than enough room. The river provided a relaxing view and there was plenty of privacy. We saw deer every day and had some pesky raccoons at night (they found the outside garbage can, which was our mistake and we corrected that after the first night). The description is accurate. We brought our Frenchton along and she was very happy.

Great house but needs some upkeep

We were super excited about the river house based on previous reviews so let’s start with the good: Loved the location of the hideaway a great place to really unplug and about 15- 20 minutes from the crater of diamonds. The house is gorgeous, loved the big kitchen island. My kids enjoyed fishing in the river and caught a couple of small fish. The grown ups enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the river. All the rooms had TV’s. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything one might need to cook/eat. Now the bad: almost every recliner in the living room is broken, you can sit but they don’t recline. There was no canoe, which we were really looking forward to. The bbq pit has a huge hole in the bottom and barely gimped through us grilling without the bottom completely falling out. The oven was coated with a layer of dirt topped in some burned bits and was totally disgusting which I had to clean before using, the dishwasher was mildewed and had old food sitting in the bottom of it so the smell was gross, so we did not use it. The gasket/seal to the freezer is busted so it is always frosted over and constantly dripping on the frozen things inside. Both bathtub drains were clogged with hair, the towels are ratty and smell mildewed. Half of the beds didn’t have mattress protectors and had gross stains all over them. Overall would I stay here again? Yes, the house just needs some things replaced and some maintenance done.

50th anniversary

This trip was a treat to our parents for their 50th anniversary. It has been a few years since we’ve had a family vacation since all us kids have grown up. Myself, my husband and step son, my sister, my other sister and her daughter, and my parents made up the group. Ages 7-73. The cabin was exactly as described (except they didn’t have the air hockey table as pictured it’s now a shuffle board, we were a little sad about that). However the fact that my elderly parents didn’t have to climb stairs to do anything besides go to the dock overlooking the river (which wasn't bad for old knees) was great! After the second night when we discovered endless hot water it made night time routine for all 8 of us a lot easier. The river was flowing a bit too swiftly for our liking to go splash around in especially when my niece isn’t the strongest swimmer (there was a life jacket and old rope swing rope tied to a tree we debated about using.) there was oars but no boats of any kind. The place was clean and welcoming and the provided directions got us directly to the cabin (as long as you used the address, not the house name we found the hard way lol). If we ever decide to make the 7-12 hr drive (from Chicago area and Nashville, TN areas) we would define keep this cabin in mind. It was plentiful in charm and room for a large crowd. 10/10 recommend! Only aggravating thing was the dishwasher does not do a good job of cleaning dishes and we ended up having to hand wash everything.

Keurig needed descaled. Freezer was frosted over. Other than that, it was great for our family reunion. Poured rain heavily for days, so the road was badly rutted, but we managed to all get in and get out..

Small Vacation stay

The address is correct on the listing but the directions the lister had where confusing. Arrived at one of the wrong cabins and tried calling the number on the listing three times like suggested and no answer or call back. After finding the right house everyrhing was ok. We had to sign into our own roku accounts to watch movies. One tv was zoomed in and was unwatchable in one of the bed rooms. Another bed room the ceiling fan wasnt working and one of the upstairs room lamp wasnt working. The rules said something about a canoe but no canoe was around to be found. Couple wires hanging in the commons area out of the wall. Seen radio speakers in the ceiling but didnt see a radio at all. The freezer needs defrosted. The smoker was unusable due to the door of the fire box was rotted off. The big led light that shines on the back deck was not wroking. The rooms were nice and comfy everything else was great. House was very nice open and as a family we had a wonderful time. There is trout in the river behind the house and the water was great to swim in. Will recommend this place for people who are looking to go to that area. Also the last step on the deck going to the river needs another step added. Also the driveway to the house needs attention due to the rain washing part or it out. Great place great looking house awesome location in my opinion.

Peaceful retreat

We were blown away by this property. The cabin is more than we could have dreamed. They put allot of thought into the construction. I would sit on the deck overlooking the river every morning and evening to watch the sun rise and set. I would walk down the steps to the river to catch some fish. Small mouth bass, trout and sunfish were plentyful.we saw deer and rabbits in the driveway every morning, and all the birds you could imagine. It was a great place to come back to everyday after diamond mining, quarts mining or hiking the nearby trails.The owners responded quickly to any and all questions. they had all the supplies you would need during your stay.We will be visiting again with our grandkids.

Blessed Rest

Our family of 2 adults and 9 children stayed from Friday to Sunday. The first blessing is that our children could play as normal and we did not have to think about neighbors in the room next door or even the house next door getting mad. Second, it is SO PEACEFUL out here! We did not use the canoe, though it is offered. Every room was fantastic in this cabin. We highly recommend this place.

Spring Break fun!

This was the perfect getaway for us! We traveled with 4 teenagers, and they had a blast exploring the area and fishing. The house was the perfect size and very clean and updated. Comfy beds and spaces. Would return!
