  • *NEW* The Salty Dolphin is one of the most luxurious beach house rentals within yards of the pier. After undergoing a six month renovation, no steps were skipped in making this house the go to destination for your vacation. All new furniture, kitchen tile and paint are just some of the things that were done on the inside.
    Some of the additions on the outside include a heated pool, fire pit and a gated driveway so bring your motorcycle trailers, RV's and boats with you during your stay!

    The Salty Dolphin is second row on S. Waccamaw dr. It’s a private house with a private pool. The beach access is about a 20 second walk across the street. The walk to Atlantic avenue is about 40 seconds.

    There's an elevator that can bring you from the driveway to either the first or second floor of the house.

    * WE SUPPLY ALL LINENS, BATH AND BEACH TOWELS*
    A lot of the greedy rental agencies will make you rent Linens and towels. We don't believe in nickel and diming our guests.

    *There is NO EXTRA CHARGE for heating the pool. Outside temperature must be at least 50 degrees for the pool heater to be turned on.

Easy to find location, within walking distance to restaurants, wonderful pool and firepit area! Great size kitchen and family room seating was perfect!

The location of this place is great. Very peaceful, not a far walk to the beach, and a huge space. I love the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. I would definitely stay again.

This place was fantastic. It was so easy to stay there, park, have a pool, kitchen, huge tv, etc. Everything we needed. Hopefully we return here next year

Great place for our large family, excellent distance to the beach and to the arcade and restaurants for the kids. It was so fun going to the pier, it is about a three minute walk. The pool was fantastic and so much fun. They had beach wagons and a couple chairs and a few towels. The fire pit was a lot of fun, too! All in all it’s an excellent location and a large home. Home is missing a few items, but I contacted the property owner and he was very quick to fix.

Great for Large Groups

The house, pool, fire pit and location are all great and very convenient but the manager's attentiveness was the best. We had a couple of requests during our weeklong stay and both were responded to instantly - thanks to the team for supporting our trip!

Karl was great with communication and check in process wa super easy! Great location and house with plenty of space for 5 teenage boys, 2 elderly parents and 4 middle age warriors:) Would definitely stay again!

WE HAVE STAYED HERE BEFORE BUT WENT THROUGH THE REALTY COMPANY. THIS TIME I WENT THROUGH VRBO.KARL WAS GREAT TO DEAL WITH AND THE HOUSE WAS CLEAN. ALL OF OUR GROUP ENJOYED THE HOUSE. THE ONLY THING I THINK OUR GROUP WOULD SUGGEST IS---THE HOT WATER DOESNT STAY HOT-MAYBE THAT CAN BE CHECKED. IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS HOUSE, I WOULD DEFINATELY SAY BOOK IT!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!
