Struttura di carattere che spicca rispetto a tutto il quartiere antico di Panama City, purtroppo in condizioni tuttora in evidente decadenza e lentissimo recupero. Unica struttura di livello con un'anima legata al passato della citta' e che ha, tra l'altro, onorevolmente contribuito al risanamento sociale di questo quartiere troppo a lungo abbandonato a degrado, sporcizia e crminalita'.
