“We paid, as you can see. We turned up around an hour after booking to check in. We were completely ignored by passing staff regardless of the fact that there were four of us standing around with our bags to check in. We eventually got greeted by an abrupt member of staff. “This hotel is great for the location to the cathedral but i am afraid this the breakfast was the only great thing about it. All the staff we encountered were lovely but this hotel is tired and run down. We had a deluxe room but there was nothing deluxe about it apart from a balcony with a view but the balcony was dirty and there was no chairs to sit out on. The carpets were vile and there were cobwebs inside the balcony doors and vents. The bath panel was broken and we had to push it back in...

“The location of the hotel is perfect , literally on the doorstep of Lincoln Cathedral and the castle. Parking is opposite to the hotel - although it is a public car park and a fee charged by meter upto 24hour parking available. The hotel itself is lovely, well presented and very clean. The restaurant area is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I really thought the breakfast was outstanding and very tasty with a large selection on the menu.
