“Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others”

“Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi”

“Beautiful hotel set in a lovely area. Overall staff were very friendly however there were quite a few times across the stay that we had to wait a while to be seen to. There was a wedding on the day we arrived, which obviously we expected with it being a wedding hotel but they had the drinks reception at 2.30PM which is the time of check in, and the drinks reception was in the main reception which was a bit of a nightmare for getting luggage in, and was very awkward. “Comfortable, clean and great breakfast”

“Convenient and relatively cheap 1 night stop if want to be close to centre of greenock. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking right out side block. The old student accomodation is a bit run down and a bit soulless. Old creeky springed matress. Helpful though to have acess to a shared kitchen with ketlle, microwave and fridge. Kettle and tv also in room. Small but functional bathroom . Ok for 1 night.”
