“Immaculately clean, stunning interior, and perfect location were the first things I noticed about Docent’s Choice. Being half a Luddite the app for phone and figuring out how to turn the lights off and on involved me needing assistance. Not only did the staff help me, they didn’t even laugh at me or call me a “Boomer”. Great customer service! Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Docent’s Choice. Everything was perfect! ”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. It is our second time. The location is fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere we needed. One block from the waterfront. Very walkable. Our unit came with a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a multi cooking option stove. Beautiful place settings, and every tool you could possibly need to prepare a full meal. We actually hosted a dinner party during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by providing extra place settings and making sure...

“The Blind Tiger was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in! The location was perfect – far enough away from the "bustle" of downtown but close enough to walk to many spots (Smalls was a favorite!). The daily breakfast was so great and the room, my goodness! Adorable, perfect, comfortable... best sleep of my life! Maggie was so helpful and accommodating and made our stay really special. All in all, highly recommend!”

“Very nice hotel, centrally located. But it's a party place, with people milling around and slamming doors all night. Especially with a room facing the street, didn’t sleep a wink”

“We enjoyed our room very much. The room was large and spacious, but mostly we loved looking out at the harbor in the evening and the next morning. The valet parking was an added convenience even though there was a fee, but totally worth it. We plan to return to this property again,”

“Unfortunately the poll was closed for planned maintenance, which was not disclosed and was disappointing. The breakfast offerings were sparse, with overflowing trash, unclean tables and serving areas. The breakfast staff person was pretty rude when others asked for replenishments of basics such as milk for cereal, eggs and sausages. With other choices, we’ll stay elsewhere next time. ”
