“The saying "you get what you for" applies here. Because the only thing that negated this overnight visit was an odor. Possibly smoke. I then woke up in the morning needing to cough and air out the room, so the distinct smell was less profound. Another observation was the tub. I can tell that it has been used quite a bit. A replacement is likely needed in the near future. Besides these two things no other issues. Semi recent renovation that makes justifies the price.”

“Very pleasant and helpful staff.Gentlman who checked us in was an exceptional employee. Great high pressure shower. Room and bathroom need a detailed cleaning, room is dimly lit. Limited parking in front of building, parking in back is inconvenient for entry. Seating in breakfast is stained beyond cleaning”

“Our room had the worst lighting of any hotel we have stayed in. The only mirror was in the bathroom. All other hotels we have stayed in had a full-length mirror so the ladies can check out their attire. The bathroom had no hooks to hang up bath towels. We used the coat hangers. The toilet seat was terrible loose. I tried to tighten it but it would not tighten. The bedsheets were coarse, too coarse for a Marriott hotel. The lighting in the room was poor. “We had a very brief stay. Our only complaint was that the heat was so high that we had to open the window. We tried lowering the thermostat with minimal results. (i will say that they offered us a room change but it was so late that we declined.)”

“This is a self check/in, which I have done before. I was sent a confirmation with check-in code and told I would be in the forest room. I got to the Inn late, after the PLL lacrosse games and dropping my son off. Around 11:30. When I got to the forest room, someone else was asleep in the room. Thankfully they had used the chain lock on the door, and I saw them asleep. I was exhausted, didn’t want to wake the person sleeping in the room, and called Jesse and who is the manager. “The staff was nice, it was clean, but it has a very bizarre smell. I think it might have been paint because there was painters tape still all over my room including covering some of the smoke detector. The bed springs were CRAZY. I was put in a two bed room and both mattresses were shot. If your primary purpose is rest and sleep, this isn’t it.”

“no staff at all on site, left my room key in a envelope by the front door. bed was saggy, air conditioner was a window unit in the bathroom so the bedroom was hot. Bed and Breakfast, but all that was offered for breakfast was do it yourself, In your room, oatmeal, but there were no bowls. lawn was overgrown not at all inviting. very wierd and kinda creepy. No horses at the inn at horse farm, might think about renaming”
