Cottage a Muskoka Lakes

“STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE: House was dirty, refrigerator dirty, oven filthy, after 9:00 we tried to go to bed NO SHEETS ON THE BED. Check in was late by 2 1/2 hours. We were promised a refund by the owner, if we left. We left. Now he’s refusing the refund. Stay away from this place.”

“Lacked basic amenities like hand soap or paper towels. Had to call again for Wi-Fi and cleaning. No chairs on the patio. Tv wasn’t working. Fireplace didn’t have supplies.”

“It was a great property to spend with your loved ones”

“My first impression was WOW!!!! Everything was just as is in the pictures. This was a very family friendly accommodation. There were games, toys, and the kid's bathroom had the whale over the spout. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils, silverware and more. There was a whole spice drawer. Amazing. Loved that the Keurig was a coffee pot and could use pods too. There was grill, which we used. Plenty of firewood to use the outdoor firepit, which we did, twice and...

“Very nice house; lots of space, there was everything we needed for our family of 5. The host is very responsive, easy process to check in/out. Hot tub is small but great to have and relax in at the end of the day! Would definitely stay again if we ever in this area again - so much to do / see. Highly recommend!”

“Space was not clean and had the odor of mold/musty. The outdoor space was not well maintained. The seating outside had molded seats and sitting water on one of the seats. Screen door mesh was missing. It was not a pleasant site to be welcomed and made it seem the space was not well maintained. I would not consider booking this property again as it seems like the owner does not care whether the space is well maintained or functioning properly for their guests.”
