“We enjoyed our stay and were perfectly comfortable in our little tent. I would describe this as a kind of hostel. Shared bathrooms but it was not crowded so easy to find a vacant one when needed. Enjoyed talking to other visitors. The deck is absolutely the best thing about this place. Always a breeze up there and fun to people watch or catch a glimpse of ships coming out from the channel. ”

“Staff was very nice. I’m a little slow and asked the same question twice at one point 😂. Didn’t hold it against me. Room was clean as well, good view, and within walking distance to quite a few things to do. And on my tour, was within walking distance of some of that as well. ”

“Hotel was beautiful and bed was comfortable however the man at check-in was absolutely rude. It was late when we checked in so doors were locked and lobby lights were turned off. Eventually doors were unlocked and we walked in and he did not want to turn the lobby lights on even when I couldn’t find my credit card. We told him several times we couldn’t see and it wasn’t until I couldn’t provide the credit card that he finally turned on the lights and continued to be very rude. Handed us the door...

“Very clean room. Handy to have a refrigerator and microwave. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good. Handy location, pleasant staff. Definitely would stay again.”

“A definite gem in Port Aransas! Very clean, well-stocked room with a comfy bed. But I gotta say what made this place extra special was the awesome staff! Super friendly! Love the complementary happy hour from 5-7 pm. 2 free beers, chicken wings and fresh-baked cookies? Yes, please! ”
