“Rooms were really clean. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. Jeanette and the crew went over and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed. The selection rotated each morning with different options... one day was bacon, mini quiche”

“We had a great stay at First Colony. Our room was big and comfortable with very nice furnishings. The only drawback was that the shower was quite small. The staff as very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.”

“AVOID!!! Very disappointing stay. I rarely write reviews but this one is extremely warranted. Front desk employee was rude and not friendly/welcoming at check in and the cleaning crew had no sense of privacy and would not give us any space, they knocked on the door several times prior to check out even though the “privacy please” tag was on the door. The wooden stairs to the beach is the one good thing about this property and even that is in TERRIBLE shape, it is completely covered in sand...

“I loved waking up to an ocean view. It was so peaceful to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. I will keep this hotel in mind when I return multiple times a year.”

“This was a charming place to stay. Nothing fancy but had the basics amenities. Room was spacious and clean. I had a corner room right by the street amd didnt hear tje traffic. Check in and check out was easy. This is also one of the few places that I was able to bring my cats as they travel with me. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“It was nice ocean front..wish the patio was more private..not enough chairs for each room outside..view was amazing..rooms are dated..beds were very comfortable that was a plus..the staff was very nice and very helpful..we did not have hot water the first night..but they fixes it as soon as i Emailed the office..”

“Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. ”

“Ma che brutto questo posto!!! Le foto del motel riprese dall'alto ingannano, così come le foto delle camere, sono proprio brutte; appena si entra si sente odore di muffa, il condizionatore fa freddo ma non toglie l'umidità e inoltre fa un rumore infernale. Siamo stati tre notti in questo posto e non hanno mai fatto le camere, cambiavano solo gli asciugamani. Bagno minuscolo. Pulizia da migliorare. Porta di ingresso indecente così anche quella specie di portico con due sedie un vaso con sabbia...

“For an off-season visit, this facility is well run, with knowledgeable, friendly staff. The room was in excellent condition and well maintained.”
