This hotel is not open. The whole building is roped off and under construction. I called the hotel and couldn't get through whatsoever. With nowhere to stay we ended up having to pay for another hotel to get away from this abandoned building. When we checked in I called Expedia to tell them what happened and

DO NOT GO THERE ! It’s actually the old sea mist motel . You have to park two blocks away from your motel no one in office to get your room key I paid thru Expedia for two motels did not get in either one . This one nobody was there to give me a room key I waited hours nobody came I contacted Expedia they lied to me saying they was there nobody knew where they were . So I booked another room thru Expedia and the motel Never got the money neither did I for either one and never stayed at either one

Check in at the property was a bit of a hassle. The GPS takes you to one location but i had to ask around to find the check in location. I finally found it & checked in and had to drive down to another location. Once there we found out the elevator didn’t work so had to climb 6 floors to my room. We booked oceanfront but wasn’t aware the back pool wasn’t operating so it was a nasty eye sore looking out to the ocean. The room was clean but the TV didn’t work at all. Thankfully we had friends down with us booked elsewhere and their hotel had a great pool & view. The photos definitely need to be updated on the site.

No television, limited parking, check in at one building and go to another to stay (parking lot was blocked off), tub & sink didn’t drain, no telephone, front desk didn’t answer calls or willing to help. I was told not all rooms have everything to deal with it! Another person was complaining when I went up to complain, her room had nothing (beds not made & no towels, trash over flowing!) Not to mention, main sign was blacked out! It was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I was too busy trying to find alternate accommodations to take pictures but upon arrival they did not have the room I initially reserved. No rooms with kitchenette or pullout. The main parking lot was closed. We had to park somewhere else and find our way to the office. There were other families there that were also told they didn’t have the rooms for the amount of people they had. All the pools were broken, dirty and not functional, the buildings looked run down, with black stains and broken debris in walk areas. I did not walk in the rooms.

I didnt like that the parking wasn't near the hotel. The two room hadn't seem like thet were clean. My other room didn't have a TV and my room did but i couldn't watch anything. Wow what a vacation.

This place is not what was advertised on Expedia. The room was nasty, the pools were green and not able to be used. The deck to the kid pool had holes in it. The toilet rocked. There was no lock on the door. The air conditioning unit was rusty and nasty. There was rat loop on the counter where the toaster and coffee pot were and there were bed bug covers on the mattress on both beds, which tells me they had issues with bed bugs in the past. The elevator is broken and you have to park two blocks away from the actual hotel. I DO NOT recommend this facility at all. The staff wasn’t friendly and I was hung up on when telling them how bad the property was. This place needs condemned and fast. Thank God that Expedia was able to find me another room fast.

Amazing staff! Very kind lovely people. But pools were very dirty, no working elevator, very confusing to get into the office because it was blocked off from the entrance, rooms overall were nice comfy beds, clean.

TERRIBLE!! DO NOT BOOK! First of all, the directions are wrong to the hotel. The hotel is labeled as a completely other hotel and the staff is very unhelpful. We arrived after having a very difficult time searching for the place and they told us that the room we booked was unavailable. like… what??? The place was sketchy looking, dirty, half built, and small. Not nice at all. We asked for a refund and they told us that we have to go through expedia for that. I called expedia and they attempted to call the hotel to discuss with them so that the hotel could issue our refund back and they never answered. The hotel has multiple numbers that NO ONE ANSWERS. I walked back into the hotel and attempted to have them speak with the expedia representative and they refused. the supervisor would not give us her name. Staff was unhelpful. It has been two days and I still have not received my refund. Also, when we walked back into the hotel they cancelled our booking without us telling them to. At that point we couldn’t even cancel on our end and get a partial refund. This was a disaster. We ended up having to book at another hotel that was in fact lovely. This place is awful.

When I came there to check in late there was nobody there the office was closed.. I arrived there around 10:30 and I was under the impression that they will be someone there at the front desk.. there was three other people that were looking to check in and we were left bewildered.. I had to call Expedia to get help and they had cop to me while I was able to find another hotel.. I've never had something like this happen before where I would arrive and it was no one at the front desk to be able to help feeling left stranded.. I'm thankful that Expedia help me and I was able to get another hotel even though I had to spend $25 more but it was a great upgrade where this time I had two rooms with three beds a balcony and a hot tub and I only paid pretty much $20 difference after they gave me the comp. There was one lady I spoke to that she said she checked in earlier but she said the place is kind of sketchy... And I've been a gold member for you a while now with Expedia in rarely make complaints but this tops it for me smh . I advise anyone who rents a roommate this hotel to make sure you call or or call the other ones around the area in Myrtle Beach to make sure that they are there.. I'm grateful that I booked from Expedia where I was able to get help... If I was Expedia I wouldn't use this as one of the hotel options.
