Disappointing Stay

I've used VRBO exclusively for the past several years with great success and in fact I was just made a silver member. This experience though was the absolute worst. The pre-arrival communications were less than acceptable; in fact, the host could not even get me the rental papers to sign! I requested an early check in and was told we'd get one but when we arrived, we were earlier than anticipated but couldn't get in. However, it didn't matter the property was very dirty and the neighborhood was less than desirable. In fact, we turned around and came back home we were so disappointed. I called the Host, Alisa that evening and she said she wished we'd called her from the property because she had other properties she could have offered, however I told her it wouldn't have mattered since our initial reaction was so poor. I would not recommend this property to anyone nor the Host. If you'd like any other detail, please feel free to call. Ron Garrison

Great place to stay at Myrtle Beach

Lovely cottage style place to stay. The house is actually broken down into 2 units- an A and B unit. I stayed in the B unit, and there was plenty of space and could not hear the other unit all week. Small in ground pool perfect for a cool dip in the water after the beach all day. I would definitely stay again.

Nice Property/Frustrating Check In

First of all, the property is newly renovated and very nice. While not in the best neighborhood, it is walkable to the beach with a private pool shared by the other two units. Check in was a nightmare. We received the code to access the property 4 minutes before check in. We were still two hours away because we didn't want to head there without the access code. We came to learn the host was travelling internationally and thus, unreachable during check in day. I spent the entire afternoon on the phone with VRBO about what we could do if we never got the sign in and how we couldn't reach the owner. We even began looking at other bookings. The code was to come 24 hours prior to check in but unsurprisingly, did not while the owner was in Europe. When I described to the owner the difficulties and stress it caused on check in day, I was told "technology doesn't always go as planned." A flippant response that is even more frustrating since this all could have been avoided by letting us know she would be unreachable and providing the access code to the local property manager (a very nice and helpful lady who we first learned about at 3:56 pm on check in day, just after getting our access code). There was no other communication from the owner during our stay following the check in debacle. Lastly, bring more toilet paper because you only get two rolls.

Great place to stay in Myrtle Beach

This house is a great place to stay in Myrtle Beach. The property was clean and well maintained. It is in a nice location that is walking distance to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet the whole time we were there.

Clean and cozy!

My family plus dogs stayed here for a week during Spring Break. It’s super clean, functional, and cute. It’s close to the beach and set quietly between two main roads.

Fantastic Vacation Spot!!

We came down to Myrtle Beach to visit family. We stayed here to mix a little vacation time in with family time. We loved this rental. It was in the perfect spot. Everything about the rental was seamless and hassle free. It was clean and perfectly decorated to be a home away from home. There is not a thing I would change about the property. We would definitely stay there again when we come back down!!!

Lovely little place to stay at Myrtle Beach

Clean, simply decorated with a modern feel, quiet, had all the basic needs, convenient location with a short walk to the beach and a beautiful little pool just a few steps away from the front door. Tucked away in the back but felt very safe with motion detector lights all around and a key coded door lock.

Excellent new place

Newly renovated, very well done, open, airy place. Very clean. Area surrounding is busy and loud. This place was nice and quiet. There is a pool that I didn’t know about so that was a nice surprise. It’s shared so it was busy.

Great Getaway

We took the kids for a last getaway before the start of school. This place was very clean and a great layout. It was an easy 2 block walk to beach which was also very clean and beautiful. We didn’t get to use the pool much because they were finishing up the final touches, but the pool and furniture were beautiful and inviting. We all gave this place two thumbs up and look forward to returning again next summer.

Relaxing space for a relaxing weekend!

We loved our stay at Alisa's place! It is so cutely decorated for a comfortable environment, and so clean! Short walk to the beach, and a beach cart included at the house for your convenience. Alisa checks in with you and is quick to respond to any questions and concerns.

Great location!

We will definitely be returning to this place. We had a great time. The location is minutes from the water. Alisa was easy to communicate with. She is very detail oriented and made our trip easy. She gave some great recommendations for dining and activities to do with the kids. Most of all the place was very clean and well stocked. Highly recommend it!

Simply perfect

This property met my needs perfectly: one floor, first floor, hardwood floors - no carpet (allows for easy sand clean up!), kitchen/living area open floor plan and exceptionally clean. This recently renovated space was great for my travel needs. Further, the owner was communicative, timely and accommodating!

Great beach getaway - close to everything!

I stayed at this beautiful spot with my wife and two friends this past weekend and absolutely loved the place. It’s only a quick walk to both the beach and both a grocery store and number of bargain beach stores where you can pick up cheap towels and beach gear which is super convenient. The place itself is only a 5 minute drive from the airport and we never spent more than $8 on an Uber to get anywhere else we wanted to in the area. Everything in the place is brand new and check in and check out was super easy and the host was very quick to reply to all of our questions. The two bedrooms were very nice and the in unit washer dryer was great for keeping our stuff clean after a long day at the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

What to expect

1. Property very near to beach 2. Clean and well maintained 3. No cable 4. Internet conncection is spectrum and was down for a couple of hours. 5. Prompt response fro manager. 6. Carry extra toilet rolls if staying for a week. 7. Towels are dark color and I did not want to use them. Better if white. 8. Washer and dryer useful 9. Kitchen fully operational. Overall excellent.

Nice Spot.

Construction is new so working through a few kinks. Overall pleasant experience, few block walk to beach. No oven. No cable. Making new improvements to property which will greatly enhance experience. Would definitely rent again.
