Nice Resort, disappointing management experience
The resort was nice with great pools for the kids. The room was smaller than expected for a family especially. The pictures make it look bigger. We chose this condo because we wanted to save money by cooking and it had an oven. We went to the store the first day and purchased frozen foods that we could cook in the oven. However when we tried using the oven the first night we found that the knob to set the temperature was broken.I contacted the management company which could only be done through text and they said they’d send someone out. The maintenance people messaged us at 12:30am while we were sleeping trying to come out.When we saw the message the next day we responded and they said they’d come that day. However we got the run around our entire trip and it wasn’t fixed until 8:30pm the last night of our stay (after we had dinner). We ended up having to toss the frozen foods and eat out most meals costing us several hundred more dollars than we planned to spend. When we asked the management company for some sort of resolution to the issue they told us “the impact was limited because we could cook on the stovetop” and they would not offer us any compensation. Seeing as the foods we had already purchased were not able to be cooked stovetop, the impact was not limited. We could have gotten other foods at the store, but they kept telling us they were coming to fix it and never showed up.Do NOT rent from Big Fish Rentals!
