Beautiful View

Kitchen lacks supplies, furniture needs updating, roach in bathroom this morning. Over the years it gets harder and harder to book through Peace. We have trouble getting car and boat passes done correctly every year. But you can't beat the ocean front view!

The guest shower has black mould on the edges and going up the wall and there's also black mould that was in the master shower as well. All of the pillows are stained and dirty, and basically have no use and should all be replaced. There's a stain on the master coverlet and there's a stain in the master bedroom. Overall, everything is quite dated and for this price, I would've expected a higher level on every aspect. Particularly since we stayed in the condo Nextdoor the three bedroom for the last two years, which is much nicer and much newer when I return next year which I've already booked. I would expect the bathrooms to be redone or at least the black mould removed. Thank you.

Disappointed

we were so excited to stay at this property based on it being oceanfront, and on past reviews, however upon entering the property, this smell was the first thing that hit me taking two steps past the foyer. The oceanfront white curtains were black as we continue to walk through the primary bed mattress literally had human dents in it and needs to be replaced. The showers were full of mold and mildew stains, all the appliances need to be updated. The pots were not usable. The filter in the hallway was dirty, dirty, and the post notes that things were broken were a little unnerving, nor were we notified they were broken. Overall, this property needs a deep, clean and updating. The ocean and porch were the best features of this property. My family and I took photos if you'd like me to provide them.

Great location right on the beach. Staff at Peace Vacations goes above and beyond to assist. All furniture needs replacing (Worn out and shot, musty smell). Location makes up for this though!

Love DeBordieu!

The rental agency Peace Vacations did a great job and responded quickly to any issues. DeBordieu is the most wonderful family vacation. Quiet, friendly, beach is not crowded like so many other places. The 2 bedroom condo we had was well equipped, good bed and linens. We had a wonderful, much needed, relaxing week.

Favorite tiny condo

We love this little condo for our May trip. I'm curious why there were no beach towels for us this time, as there have always been beach towels. Also, there wasn't a single hanger in the whole house this trip. Nevertheless, we have a great time!

Furnished in the 1970's

Icemaker didn't work, the door wall didn't work, and the window didn't open. I have seen butter furnace kitchens in college apartments in the 1970s. There wasn't a single piece furniture in this place that was from the 21st century! Whatever you do, avoid this rental!

Convenient

This was a nice condo with functional amenities. The unit was conveniently located ocean front, near community pool and Beach Club - but was still Hirt and private. Most furniture pieces were comfortable but all furnishings and kitchen could use an update.

Wonderful location in Debordieu. Sliding door glass panels are foggy with age and the door is tough to open and close. Otherwise all essentails are in the condo for a relaxing stay at a beautiful place on the cost.

We've stayed at Villa D'Amore for years and it needs some updates. Needs new pots and pans, master bed mattress, and tv remotes didn't work. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location!!

Condo sits right on the beach with wonderful and peaceful views/sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. The location was absolutely perfect! The one thing I would do to make this Condo better was to replace the sliding glass door that looks out to the ocean. The window panes of the glass were foggy and the door is old. A clearer view of the ocean/outside is a must with this wonderful location. Once that is done I would give it a rating of Excellent vs good.

Great location. Excellent pool. Villa needs updating and attention to details. Minor repairs needed in baths; furnishings are old and outdated. Masters bedroom needs new mattress, pillows and bedding. Overdue for refreshing.

Many thanks to the Rental staff for obtaining a functioning TV and repairing the king bed in the Master Bedroom. The unit should have a Keurig coffee maker these days. The location is perfect...a beautiful view of the beach and crashing waves. The front porch is delightful in the afternoon shade. The Pioneer Pool was perfect for our grandchildren. Finally, the proximity to the Blue Heron Grill was great for quick meals of snacks.

Very convenient but needs attention

While this condo was convenient to the beach with great views, it is in need of attention. The unit is extremely dated and the kitchen is in need of a least bowls for preparing food. The pantry was strangely bolted shut from the inside on one side only. Maybe this is where the food prep items were hiding. Also, the pool was completely empty of water during our entire stay. I would suggest checking out other units for booking.

my wife and I have stayed at Villa D'amore at least 7 times.we will not go back for the following reasons: the tv in the master bedroom does not work the patio is falling apart the furniture is nasty the tile floors stain your feet sliding doors are opaque the ice maker does not work the front door is difficult to open

Since selling our DeBordieu beach house, we have stayed at Villa D'Amore multiple times and will rent it in the future. It is a quiet break for the two of us from when we rent for all 17 of us the Kitchens' Creek House in July every year. Steam cleaning or otherwise cleaning the living room furniture fabric since our last stay there was an improvement, as I was allergic to its previous strong mildew odor... especially the sofa. The baths are very nice and the kitchen is fine... in a few years new appliances may be a good idea. Its location is superb.
