My husband and I along with my parents stayed at the condo. The location of the condo was perfect. The living area furniture was very comfortable. Our only complaint (concern) was the lack of upkeep and especially cleanliness. The beds in the master and front bedroom (Queen) were very messy and the comforters were dirty. We actually stripped the two beds and washed sheets and comforters. There were no clean blankets. The master bath was disgusting with mold in the shower and solid mold on the shower curtain, the floor was dirty, sandy, and had long dark hair all over. The stove was filthy as if something overflowed but wasn’t cleaned. The refrigerator was leaking inside, we constantly had to soak up water that leaked on anything we had in there. The crisper drawer where you keep fruit/vegetables was broken, with a make shift handle of some type of cloth tape. It prevented use of the bottom shelf of the door, because it would not remain closed. We just had to remove the shelf and put it back the day we left. The screens had big holes in them which let flies and bugs in. So we were unable to have the master bedroom or the living area sliding doors open. It was the worst master suite we’ve ever had. Mold along the walls and ceiling, no bed skirt, the extra pillows were on the floor in the closet laying on a dirty vacuum. The walls around the sliding door were torn up and the wall in the master bath were also torn up. I’ve attached photos. Would not rent again.

I absolutely loved this condo and its location. The air conditioner worked great. We had a little trouble with the bunk beds not cleaned, but it was taken care of very quickly. The master bedroom and bath were amazing. The 2nd bedroom was great ( the mattress a little worn out) and the 3rd bedroom was a little smaller but great for smaller kids. The balcony was huge (loved it). The only complaint that we had was the parking. The covered parking area is not made for bigger vehicles. It was very hard for us to maneuver our truck and suburban around because of the very tight turns and small area. The upper 2 floors on the parking garage was for smaller vehicles. So very limited parking for bigger vehicles and not easy to maneuver. Overall I loved this condo and area. I would highly recommend it.

Older Property

This was definitely an older property but it was clean and worked fine. We enjoyed that it was at the end of North Ocean Boulevard so not much traffic passing by.

Wonderful Condo. Great Location

Our stay was EXCELLENT. Condo had great views and fabulous balcony. All room were large and spacious. All kitchen ware and utensils provided. Great communications with rental office. Only con ...have to take your garbage out and across the syreet and down a condo.

Was nice but could have been great.

Check-in was stressful as they called us as we were getting off the plane for a driver's license at 5:00 when check-in time was stated online from 3:00 - 6:00. Driving to a separate place to get codes was inconvenient. The kitchen was sparsely equipped, basic utensils were missing such as turners, spatulas, and only one sharp kitchen knife, can opener didn't work. The freezer didn't keep food frozen—poor bedroom lighting. The one bunkbed was uncomfortable with childproof lining when an adult used the bed. The furniture was dated and soiled or dirty. The exterior handle on the sliding glass door fell off. Some basic kitchen spices and bathroom soaps, and shampoos would have been nice. The rule about not taking off the mattress pad and bedspread made us wonder if they ever get washed. With some deep cleaning, a little paint, and some minor repairs the facility would have been excellent. We loved the balcony and ocean view.

Great property, management company left something to be desired

First off, let me say, the property and the location were fabulous! The view was spectacular and the proximity to the beach was just what we were looking for. However, the office worker at the management company was rude when I had to call to rwport several issues we had after we checked in. One of the issues we had was that the floors were very dirty and made the entire condo smell horrible and turned our socks completely black. The other issue, was that we were not provided with enough towels and washcloths for our entire party. For context, we had 4 adults and 4 children. When I called, I was told I needed to just wash them and reuse them. It was inly after pressing this person that I was able to have additional linens delivered. Finally, the night before we left, the dishwasher appeared to be clogged and started overflowing into the floor. Despite all this, it was still a decent place to stay though. I just wish the management company could have been more hospitable.

Long overdue vaycay

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Marsh II. We loved ocean front and our large balcony . First time we stayed that far down to inlet and loved walking on the beach. Condo clean and fully equipped with basic needs. Great spacious family condo!

Not worth the high price

Building is old and needs upkeep. Condo needs a good cleaning. Furniture is very dated and the condo just seems old. Beds are uncomfortable…especially the bunk bed. Sheets were pilly and we had no top sheets on two of the beds. They do supply plentiful towels and washcloths and the location is great. If the price had been lower I would have expected some of the items I described above as just part of the deal. We managed to make ourselves comfortable enough to enjoy our time but we definitely would not rent again.

Wonderful sister getaway

The property was very nice and clean, enough chairs for eight people to stay comfortably. The queen size mattress in the bedroom closest to the hall way needs to be replaced it sags to the middle and ceiling fans in the two bedrooms closest to the hallway would have been nice. The condo was very well stocked with everything we needed.

Vacation

The property was clean and as described. Great location, close to grocery stores and easy beach access. Bedrooms are roomie. The bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable. My husband wished he had looked to see what brand of mattress was there!Trash drop-off being across the street is not ideal, more of an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. We loved the balcony and the large kitchen counter. My only issue was the living room couch. It needs an upgrade or maybe just a cleaning. The throw pillows definitely need to be replaced. I just put them in a bedroom we weren’t using. We enjoyed our stay. Everyone we ran into while we were there was very nice. Cherry Grove is our favorite section of North Myrtle.

Great rental for a family :-)

This is overall a great rental, and I have no major complaints. There were 7 of us in our group and we had plenty of room. The location has a beautiful oceanfront view and nice furniture on the balcony to sit and enjoy it. The only complaints I have is that the bathroom outlets weren’t working, and I would advise anyone that has a large vehicle to make sure your vehicle fits in the garage. The clearance is like 5’6 or you have to park in a different section of the garage…which was tall enough but was very narrow and tight. We had a jeep and it was sketchy trying to maneuver through the tight turns. There are 3 parking spaces on the outside for larger vehicles but those were occupied a lot of the time. TV’s were difficult to figure out and it honestly took me two days to figure out where the trash went. There were no details inside the room anywhere. I luckily saw a small sign near the elevator, and the trash location was across the street from a neighboring building. Nothing major, but a few things I wish I had known. I would rent this location again, and the employees at Seaside Vacations were more than willing to help with any concerns.

Plenty of room! Great view!

This property worked well for what we needed. We needed a handicap accessible room for mom who had hip surgery. I looked at several different places but this one checked all the boxes.. elevator accessible, no stairs, short access to beach, walk in shower, low bed, view from porch was just as good as being on the beach. (She is able to walk so not sure about wheelchair accessible) Also 3 bathrooms was awesome for family group! The only complaint is the bunk bed was horrible! Worst bed I've ever had to sleep in! 12 yr old had to sleep on top bunk and was miserable. Atleast update with some mattress toppers..the whole bed should be replaced, was very rickety. Very disappointed to not get good rest on vacation. Overall the place was cleaned well and mom had a great time

Clean, spacious condo with beautiful views!

We have visited Cherry Grove Beach a few times but this condo was by far our favorite. AMAZING ocean views from the balcony off the living area, and the master bedroom. The property was very clean, and had everything we needed to cook and eat in, which we planned to do since it’s about 10 minutes from the shopping/dining area. Very quick beach access, and close to the inlet for fishing/paddle boarding. There is no bathroom at the pool, so if you’re anti ocean peeing, you’ll have to make the (very quick) trip up elevator to the condo. The property has an outdoor shower and INDOOR pool. Pool was small but the kids didn’t mind. Maneuvering in and out of the parking garage was difficult with a large suv but we were able to do it. One bedroom (master) has a ceiling fan, but the other 2 did not. If you’re used to sleeping with a fan I would suggest buying a cheap one to bring with you as the other two rooms did seem a little stuffier. A few suggestions I made to the property manager at checkout which would have made the condo nearly flawless.. The chairs on the balcony were too low to see over the balcony railing. I realize this is super nit picky but if they’d been higher (stool height like some others I saw) it would’ve been so much nicer to not have to look through the bars of the railing! The lightbulbs in some of the bathrooms were way too hot (felt like there was a heater on) and one bathroom even had black (soot?) marks on the ceiling from the heat of the bulbs. The freezer wasn’t super cold and the ice maker didn’t start making ice for a few days. We ended up buying bagged ice to use in the cooler and learning to enjoy the very soft ice cream that never got fully frozen. There are plenty of TVs, but a smart TV at least in the living area would’ve been nice to have (we ended up just watching movies on Netflix from my laptop). Finally, on the last day I was looking for a broom and opened the closet where the HVAC unit was, only to notice that the drip pan was full/overflowing and the pipes were frozen in spots. We did keep the thermostat set at 74 during the day and 72 at night (as recommended) so I think maybe this was just status quo for the HVAC unit? These were all mostly SUPER small suggestions (aside from the lightbulbs and the AC) but worth mentioning incase it helps others plan accordingly, or inspires the property owner to eventually buy new porch furniture/smart tv :). We will definitely stay at this condo again!
