  • Questo è un ragazzo e un paradiso adulto amichevole vicino a tutte le azioni. A soli 7 miglia a sud di Whalebone Junction (e Sam e Omie's), è tranquilla ma vicino al centro commerciale e piccoli negozi a Nags Head e Manteo.

    Un ascensore aiuta chi ne ha bisogno e rende la diga delle drogheria sopra una brezza. Terrazza spaziosa zona soggiorno con una TV permette agli adulti di rilassarsi mentre la sala giochi al primo piano con due giochi arcade, tavolo da biliardo, foosball, dartboard, karaoke machine con dock per iPod per tenere i bambini intrattenuti.

    C'è una piscina per bambini da 8 'x 8' filtrata e una vasca idromassaggio e una piscina full-in-ground.

Well worth the trip!

We all had a wonderful time at this lovely home. Grandparents, children and grandchildren - actually 6 of them under the age of 3! We actually turned in for the nite shortly after the kids :)

Perfect for our family vacation!

Lasting memories

We had a wonderful stay! We celebrated my husband's 50th with family and friends. We had everything for all ages. We loved how close the home was to the beach. We were able to easily walk to the public access and enjoy the day. (There are not any beach items) Our family took advantage of fishing and dolphin watching tours. It was a great experience to have enough room to enjoy each others company and to have meals together. Thank you Lost Shaker!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house accomodates 20 comfortably. However, there are many repairs that need attention. The furniture is broken, the railings on steps outside are broken, the shower doors in the bathrooms are loose and broken. The broken and loose shower doors are very dangerous for many. I think this house needs some attention from contractors.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose Lost Shaker of Salt for our annual Memorial Day weekend family getaway. Our group included adults, teens, and three children under 3 years of age. The house had something for everyone. It is an older house with some obvious wear and tear. There was a broken floorboard on the lower level, and the rollaway bed was in no condition for sleeping. We appreciated having two refrigerators, dishwashers, and two washers and dryers. The pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool were relaxing after a long day on the beach, just a short walk away. There were tons of mosquitos but that wasn't the homeowner's or rental company's fault. The kitchen was well-equipped as well. Overall we had a great weekend and would definitely rent Lost Shaker of Salt again.

Reviewer Comments: House was unclean on arrival, sandy floors, food under bed, toilet running every 41 seconds, generally poor house cleaning. Railing on third level deck not attached at south end post very dangerous. Very outdated. Very poor maintenance. The management company was responsive but it looks like nothing is fixed or replaced until someone complains. Work orders went in immediately but no one showed up to fix several items. The repair guy put two nails into the deck railing and now the gate can't close or latch.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a solid house. It is a bit worn around the edges but nothing big, plus the rental agency is very responsive. The two things that impacted our stay were the presence of roaches, pest control came on a weekend to spray but should be done when no one is staying in the house; the second issue was the lack of a back deck. This meant no sunset view and no respite from the wind. I would stay at this house in a heartbeat with the addition of a back deck. Thanks again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this home in September for the first time. It was our 6th family trip to OBX. The location to the beach was awesome. The furniture and beds we used were comfortable and the living space was very homey. Loved that this home has 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The elevator was a huge help and overall we were happy with the house. The listing says 2 outdoor showers but there's just 1 shower head by the pool and it's not enclosed. There were things that needed attention ASAP which Beach Realty fixed. However, there's a lot of maintenance that needs to be done here from general wear and tear that would need to be done before we rented this home again. The negative's are that there is no covered area to leave all your beach gear and there were no lounge chairs in the pool area.

But one dishwasher didnt work, dryer broken, no decent skillets or anything to bake or cook with, some of the bathroom showers were stopped up when you took a shower, the house was not clean, wet towels to open on arrival, finger prints on glass, dishwasher had to be unloaded including the broken one so those dishes had to be dirty not realizing this. The refrigerator was to be replaced but did receive a call it would not be on our stay. We figured this was the same each week on refrigerator. Most of games in game room were broken. We were disappointed. We did have to but some cookware since we were cooking in most of the time. The view to ocean was poor.

Like most beach houses during the summer, there were a few items in need of repair.We contacted the rental office, they were responsive. Bunk beds and mattresses on some of the beds were not comfortable. Electronic games did not work. But overall, a really great beach house.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was exactly what we wanted, and the home was cleaned well. Although everything was clean, there were issues with things around the house in need of repair. A piece of fencing had come down outside, there was a hole in the wall of one of the bathrooms, and some pieces of flooring were coming up around the stairs and doors on the top floor. It felt like a little more than standard wear and tear. The rental company handled everything appropriately and for that we are thankful.The biggest disappointment of our experience was that when we booked the house (approx. 11 months before our stay) the pictures and description included a standard pool table on the bottom floor. By the time we got there, the pool table had been replaced with a smaller bumper pool game. Online the pictures and description had been updated to reflect that, but we were not notified. We have some amateur pool players in the family so having a decent table is a top preference we look for. We wish that either the owner had replaced the old table with a similar one, or that we were at least notified before our stay.Lastly, the kitchen was nice and spacious. The appliances worked nicely. Only complaint is that the kitchen tools (namely the pots and pans) were sparse and mostly not in good shape. One pot we used to simmer sauce had the non-stick coating coming up and getting into the food. There was also only one small pan anywhere to be found in the whole kitchen. We had to go to the thrift store to buy a second pan so we could cook larger meals. We didn't need a gourmet kitchen by any means but most houses we've stayed at in the past stock the kitchen with the understanding that you're cooking for more than just a couple people at a time.All in all we had a good time. It's a fine house for a fair price especially when we went in the spring season. We are looking for a different house next year, but would still happily rent through the same rental company as they ha

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a nice size and accommodated our 14 total guests perfectly as far as the space was concerned. We loved the location and being off the beaten path. The walk to the beach was very easy and it was nice public access. We did, however, encounter many maintenance issues with the house. Many roof leaks during rainy days (including one that was leaking around a light switch), the AC froze up multiple times, there was a fire extinguisher next to the sink that was empty, several bedrooms had ant problems, the dead bolt for the top deck floors did not lock and the breaker tripped for the pool/deck lights more than once. Because of these issues, it's likely we will choose a different property for our next stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house needs lots of updated furniture, kitchen cookware, linens that fit the beds. The house needs to be cleaned through out and dusted especially ceiling fans under the beds, and the game room. Glass doors need washing .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House has a great location. However the house needs some TLC. The floors look updated. The pictures must have been taken years ago. Loved the video games. However karaoke machine broken and couldn't even get tv in game room to turn on. Elevator was great.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time outside at this rental. The pool, kiddie pool and hot tub were in good condition and enjoyed by the multiple generations who stayed with us. The location was great - a short walk to the beach and away from a lot of traffic. The major overall issue is that this house was not clean. We found dirty socks under beds, dead bugs in the middle of bathroom floors, and obvious dust buildup along most of the wall hangings in the house. Several kitchen items had obviously just been tossed in the cabinets without cleaning. Brooms and dustpans were left sitting out in the middle of the hallway and they had not been used on the top floor. To top it off, when we arrived just after 4 pm on Saturday, we were told by departing cleaning staff not to go in the house until it had been cleared by a supervisor. We waited 40 minutes in the driveway without anyone showing up, then called to see if we could get a time estimate when we would be allowed in the house and were told that the house had already been cleared and we could go in. We had a good experience with Dan, who came to fix the door lock on Sunday morning and solved a few other minor issues. This is not our first beach house rental experience, but it is our first with this company. I do not think we will be back.

Nice house terrible management of the facility

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The owners should ask for refund in the cleaning and maintence service. We were givien the go to check in at 4pm , the house was dirty !Beds were not made, floors were full of dog hair and debris. We vacuumed dog hair of the couch. two toilets were dirty. Oven was filthy !has not been cleaned. Maintence was contacted due to missing blind in lower bedroom that was found broken in a closet. maintence was contacted on upon check in and did not show until Tuesday ! I was told they would not fix by Curtis until Thursday ! Told them this was not acceptable and to fix today ! they did with hesitance. Main pool was full of sand ! Liked the house fit family needs but would not recommend to have Beach Reality oversee property ! Terrible
