Ashanti - Una grande famiglia Madaket Gem

"Ashanti" è la perfetta vacanza di Madaket. La proprietà è ben architettata e offre privacy e molti spazi all'aperto.
La casa può ospitare fino a 12 persone ed è generosamente attrezzata per una fantastica vacanza al mare.

Lato nord della casa:
Ampia camera da letto matrimoniale w / TV a schermo piatto e armadio.

Camera doppia con due letti singoli. Ottimo per i bambini

Lato sud della casa:
Camera a castello con tre letti a castello, un divano e TV a schermo piatto.
Camera da letto della regina con grande armadio e cursori per finestre / porte sul ponte anteriore.

Tra le zone notte Nord e Sud è ampio, soggiorno aperto, sala da pranzo e spazio cucina con soffitto svettante, un camino stufa a legna e generosa area salotto.

La cucina completamente attrezzata ha un'isola con 4 sgabelli e si apre nella sala da pranzo che può ospitare comodamente 8 all'ampio tavolo di campagna.

La grande terrazza privata all'aperto è perfetta per cenare all'aperto. Grande cortile ben curato, anche!

Goditi una cena in famiglia con il sole che tramonta sul portico posteriore rivolto a ovest. e prova la tranquillità mentre leggi il tuo giornale o il tuo romanzo sulla veranda.
 
10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia privata di Tristram, 5 minuti a piedi da Millies e General Store, e dietro l'angolo un facile accesso alla pista ciclabile / fermata dell'autobus cittadino!

C'è un giardino paesaggistico privato con grill a gas, doccia esterna e tavolo da picnic all'aperto.

We appreciated the pet friendly, our elderly dog passed away before we traveled, He would have loved it. Proximity to beach and neighborhood in Madaket are also big draw for us. The space also offers a lot of privacy, almost like separate suites which I can see would help with larger families.

Amazing location & property!! Check in and check out process was seamless - straight forward, willing to help, and kind. We had the best time enjoying the house, with plenty of places to sleep, great recommendations, and walking distance to the beach. Cannot wait to come back again next summer!!

Great quiet location close to the beach

Incorrect price and opening date was listed on VRBO, but the owner was very accommodating and kind to make our plans work. We had a great experience in the property and enjoyed walking the area down to the beach. It was off season, so it was very quiet and uncrowded. Thanks so much Chris for opening Ashanti for us.

Could be better

There were a number of positives and negatives; the positives: - good sized main living room - nice large, shady deck for outdoor meals - good outdoor seating - outdoor shower was useful - reasonably close to beautiful beaches Some negatives: - large main yard was unmowed, which was unpleasant and we weren't really able to use it - decks had some protruding nail heads, which were somewhat treacherous - washer and dryer were old and took a long time to run and were very noisy - window screens and screen door were poorly fitting/broken, and left large gaps, which resulted in some insect issues - small ants were spotted in kitchen cupboards and on kitchen floor - screen slider didn't slide well / was broken (though still usable) - lack of AC made sleeping uncomfortable - furniture was musty; furniture covers had rips and stains - stove had only three small burners working (main one was broken) - refrigerator shelf fell down three times, seemed broken also (we ultimately left it down) - yard and deck still had some confetti and some paraphernalia from a bachelorette party were left in the house overall, it could have been cleaner, and there were some other inconveniences... I would definitely return to Nantucket, but I would probably not rent this place again

Refreshing family retreat

We had a great stay. The outdoor shower was everyone's favorite after a day at the beach. The home is in a great location in Madaket. We recommend renting bikes as its easier to get around Nantucket then using cars. We'll be back!

Starbuck Summer Cottage

The layout of this house is great for two families. Lots of beds and space to spread out. The backyard is a surprising oasis; much bigger than you’d expect and very private. The house itself is an older summer cottage that will leaves you feeling like you’re staying at your grandma’s house. It was stuffy when we first arrived but after we opened all the windows and let in the ocean breeze it was much better. The property owner has tons of fans for your comfort; as the house does not have a/c; which was not an issue during our stay due to the cool summer weather we had. There are plenty of towels, beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards provided. The kitchen is well stocked as well. Access to a washer and dryer was also super helpful. The owners were very accommodating for us when we needed a later checkout as well. I’d recommend this property to anyone that’s comfortable enjoying a more rustic stay. This is not a luxury Nantucket property; this is an old school Nantucket summer cottage meant for those of us that love the beach & biking, but nothing too fancy:)

Breezy and Quiet

Awesome retreat over on Madaket Beach. Close access to beach and Millies. House is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Great oasis outside of the madness from town. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway.
