Luce e arioso, incantevole cottage Cape Cod cinque minuti a piedi a Main Street. Incantevole giardino privato con splendidi giardini di rose e ortensie e patio in pietra. Splendidamente decorate in stile Shaker, pavimenti in pino di larghezza, e bagni in piastrelle. Tre camere da letto (2 al piano di sopra e 1 piano terra) e di studio; due camere bagno completo, al piano di sopra e giù. aria condizionata centralizzata. Completamente attrezzata cucina moderna con fornelli, frigorifero / congelatore, lavastoviglie, smaltimento, gamma, microonde, macchina per il caffè, frullatore, e lavatrice / asciugatrice. mobili da giardino e barbecue, doccia esterna. Lenzuola e asciugamani da spiaggia forniti. Fuori strada parcheggio per due auto. Wifi gratuito. TV via cavo in tutte le camere da letto, salone, e soggiorno. Proprietà confina con terra di conservazione e santuario degli uccelli. Il cottage ha tutti i vantaggi di essere in città, ma con la privacy, la pace e la quiete della campagna. Pista ciclabile dall'altra parte della strada. Vicino a tutte le spiagge. A pochi passi dalla fermata dell'autobus alla fine della strada. Non vediamo l'ora di avere come nostri ospiti!

Nantucket house near bird sanctuary

Great place, easy to get to and the host is very easy to deal with. This was our second year renting this house and will be back next year.

Beyond what I expected!

The photos don’t do this place justice - so much space and place for a comfortable stay. My friends and I stayed for two nights and very much enjoyed our stay! Would absolutely stay again.

Very nice home, under a mile from town center. Clean, relaxed, very nice place. Only drawback was next to hospital, so rare helicopter arriving.

Great house, yard, and location!

The house was great, the kids loved the big back yard!! The path to get to town was right outside the back door. Neighbors the the hospital (on the other side of a huge field), which ended up being convenient when we needed to run to the ER but never heard an ambulance or any noise from there. Robert was really easy to work with too.

Disappointed

We had such high hopes staying here. Location was not as close to town as described. Especially if you have kids, it’s a long walk through narrow one way streets. We ubered the majority of the time and spent way too much money doing so. House is also on a very busy street, cars racing by. Area stores and restaurants that were within somewhat walking distance were not very comfortable as the class of people coming in and out made us a feel a little unsafe. Construction going on two houses down so it was loud. Gas grill was filthy and looked like it hadn’t be cleaned in years. It really should have been ready to use right away, instead we spent the first afternoon scrubbing and cleaning it so it was usable. Patio furniture was pretty sad looking. Patio was not a very comfortable place to sit as the yard needs to be manicured and trees should be cut back. Back yard is private except people do walk on the path to the left of the house. Bathrooms weren’t great or clean feeling. No water pressure in shower. Upstairs bathroom had a leaky toilet so floor and rugs were always wet. Looks like they had previous water issues from toilet as kitchen ceiling was cracking and had water dripping in spots at times. Owner was responsive and apologetic the first night we arrived after pullout couch was in filthy condition from not being cleaned (dead bugs and dirt/dust) Upstairs queen bed super uncomfortable, mattress has to be 20+ years old. Not a great few days of sleeping as we had hoped it would be. It could be a budget friendly spot to stay but needs some updates and a thorough deep clean.

Great location, great space, allergy heaven

Although we really enjoy the house itself especially the backyard garden, there was a lot of mold that affected a lot of are allergies. We recommend just a deep clean and this house will be perfect!

Nice spot!

Six of us stayed the weekend for the Christmas stroll. Communications with the owner were great and he was flexible. Nice comfortable home in a good location. Walked to town during the day and was able to use Uber at night. House is equipped with everything we needed. Very much enjoyed our stay and will look to return

Nice Nantucket stay

The house is spacious and comfortable and in a fairly convenient location (next to the hospital and school - good to know if you’re just arriving on the island and don’t know your way around, and there are no Ubers to be had!). It’s just outside of town, so it was quiet and the backyard was nice. It’s an easy enough walk, or an easier bike ride, into town. We mostly used bikes to get around. The house can get really musty, and there’s mildew in places and general dampness (sometimes we found ourselves putting on damp clothes). The air conditioning unfortunately didn’t work upstairs, which made for some sweaty nights. It also wasn’t working downstairs. When it got pretty hot, we reached out to Robert who was super responsive. Three repairmen showed up the next morning - one to put in window units, one to fix the central air and a plumber to fix the broken toilet on the main floor. Apparently there had been a leak the previous year that may have contributed to the issues. Overall, our interaction was friendly and informal - much like it was elsewhere on beautiful Nantucket. This being our first stay, we felt like we found a good little spot to enjoy a range of activities and have room to spread out.

Beautiful house in a great location

Spent 4 days at Roberts property. The listing was even more spacious and beautiful than advertised. We fit 8 adults comfortably. Robert was extremely responsive any time there was a concern. The property is about a 20 minute walk from town, I would recommend renting bikes if you’re not a big walker!

absolutely disappointed and disgusted

this place smells so badly of mold/mildew asked owner to come over and he claimed didn’t smell a thing. The beds are filthy and pillows are stained mattress even was dated back 40 yrs asked for a refund he refused i took photos and will be sending to homeaway, credit card company this is the worst rental we ever encountered and only had to stay bc hotels for 5 people didn’t exsist. cant wait to get out of here and breath and shower . Surprised we all didn’t end up at hospital next door bloody noses , coughing , wheezing , puffed eyes all from being trapped inside a moldy dirty house so not with Covid policy cleaners spent 1 hr been coming to ACK for 20 yrs don’t stay at this house

Cozy Cottage

Booking and communicating with owner were easy. All supplies for kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were supplied and appreciated. Plenty of space to spread out. Back yard was private and pleasant. Inspite of Covid and mask requirement in town, a great time was had by all.
