Cottage a Narragansett

“Our final weekend of summer was spent at this little gem of a cottage. The house was lovely, cozy and clean upon arrival. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The beach was a 5 minute drive away. The hostess was so attentive to every text I sent. She also left us multiple treats for the adults and my son. A fantastic way to finish up the summer. We would go back in a heartbeat!”

“The host was very nice and all communications were clear and prompt. My friend and I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend exploring Narraganset and Block Island. The scenery is beautiful and everyone is very friendly. The cottage had everything we needed and was wonderful to return to after a day of exploring.”

“Despite lot’s of rain and poor fishing, I had a great time. I love to cook and I think the kitchen was the best equipped in over 40 years of summer rentals. Carol always responded right away when I contacted her. The house was clean and easy to keep clean. I would highly recommend this place to any person or family. The only problem was when I asked Carol to stop the rain and improve the fishing she was unable to do so!!”

“My husband and 2 adult kids were able to get away for a short weekend together and our stay at Brenda's beach cottage was perfect! Loved the screened in porch, updated kitchen and accommodations. We couldn't have asked for a better place for a short time away!”

“The house was pristine upon arrival with a very nice welcome note from the hosts. It was a very short walk to the Bonnet Point rocks and Kelly Beach. As advertised the kitchen was a great central room with plenty of seating to have a family dinner and chat. It was nice to see a modern update to one of the classic cottages in the area done so well. We will definitely consider the home again if we return to Bonnet Shores.”

“This was our 3rd year spending a week in this same neighborhood within walking distance of Scarborough Beach. It was also our 3rd different rental and this one has by far been our favorite. It's charming, laid out well with a light and airy feel despite it's small size. Has all the amenities needed and is just as listed. Loved it!”

“Cottage was small but cute and comfortable. Perfect for 2-4 people. It is perfect location for shopping, restaurants and the ferry, and very easy to get around the area but in a very quiet area so great to relax. May be a bit more hectic during summer but everything was very accessible and close. Lovely view from deck. Wish there was easier access to the water other than the dock but very marshy and overgrown so no access but still nice to view from the deck and dock. Would consider a return...

“Nice, simple beach house. Nothing fancy, but everything you need and a super short walk to the beach. Myself, my wife and our two kids loved our stay here. Sue, the owner responded immediately to our questions and was incredibly friendly and helpful. Will be back.”

“Our family of five stayed for a long weekend. This was in a quiet neighborhood across the street from a path that led to the beach. The home was large and welcoming. Large kitchen perfect for cooking a couple meals a day. Great food in the area. Short drive to Newport for activities with the kids. Would highly recommend for those traveling to the area.”

“Great home - beds are super comfortable. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms fully stocked. The only issue were 1) location - not close to beach and parking was impossible 2) construction on property took away the advertised screened in porch which could have been a children’s bedroom 3) carpeted kitchen??? When they do finish the house - it will be beautiful”
