“The cottage is very accommodating, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We enjoyed our time here for a short weekend trip ”

“Room was clean. Bedsheets were very uncomfortable polyester. The air fresheners throughout the property were very powerful, makes one wonder what they were trying to mask. The outside of house and grounds were in disrepair, made a poor impression. Upon arrival I wondered if we made mistake in booking room in this place.i believe this place was not worth the $&”

“The property needs serious updating. It's outdated and musky. We had a rodent (what appeared to be mouse droppings) in our room. The rodent attempted to get into my small personal cooler that was sitting on the floor under a desk with only water bottles in it. Spoke to the owner who offered a new room, which we did take him up on. The houses are very old and really need attention. The office was so junky it was not a good look. The best thing about the stay was the location. Also, I think...

“This was a very nice B&B in the heart of Newport, very close to shopping, bars, restaurants and the waterfront. We were there for the jazz festival and found it conveniently close for transportation.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Inn. The Inn and our room were beautiful, clean and cozy. Liz was super friendly and helpful, and no details were missed. We enjoyed the daily breakfast, snacks, boardgames, and hot tea in the afternoon! Close walking distance to the wharf - but im assuming the Hilltop name was a nod to thier location - it's uphill from the Wharf! Would highly recommend!”

“Pros: It was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was close to the central part of town. it was nice to sit out on the porch. Cons. (for us) There are no ammenities. It is not like staying in a hotel. There is no ice machine, food, bar, etc etc. ( there was a mini fridge) We stayed in the first floor room. The sink was starting to separate from the wall. The toilet was rocky. The enamel is starting to peel off the tub. If you are looking for a very quiet, restful place, it is good.”

“THE INN AT OLD HARBOR IS LOCATED NOT FAR FROM WHERE THE FERRY BRINGS PEOPLE TO BLOCK ISLAND, IT IS A OLD HOTEL WITH NO AMENITIES OR AIR CONDITIONING. THE STAFF ACCOMODATED ALL REQUESTS AND WERE VERY HELPFUL,”

“Was an okay-average stay. Room was clean and a good size. There was a lot of sand on the floor in the bathroom when we got there, which it’s on an island. The only thing that bothered me was the TV didn’t work at all, and the ceiling fan was broken. The staff didn’t really do anything about it. Other than that, a decent place to stay if you’re not looking for the bells and whistles experience.”
