Hotel a Narrows

“Overall great location and comfortable stay if you’re in town for VT.”

“Eventhough we booked through Expedia, a warning about the train horns, and noise at wee hours of the night would help with planning to choose this hotel, coupled with paper thin walls. Breakfast was pretty good. Room size, and double sinks were good.”

“Breakfast was good. Room was close by and most importantly beds were comfortable. The woman who was doing the breakfast in the morning was friendly and pleasant to chat with. One other thing that caught my attention was that the bathroom was well laid out. Sounds weird, but basic conveniences like a hook for your towel right by the shower so you can easily grab it after you shower. The inclusion of mouthwash as a basic in room bathroom feature. Little details like that which made the stay...

“We were there for a family reunion, in a total of 3 rooms. Loud people next door and below us kept us all awake until after 1:00 am. We were talking about it at breakfast and some other guests were commenting on it as well. ”

“Staff obviously doing the best they can and were very friendly. However, the property itself was a great disappointment. The floor was sticky and slimy.We were afraid to put our bare feet down. The t v didn't work. and there was mold in the bathroom. We thought we heard scratching in the walls.We will never be back.This is the worst beware.....”

“Nice little older style hotel that has been renewed. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was it was noisy beside the old main road with traffic but that eventually settled. Definitely would recommend. Budget friendly”

“Parking was limited. There was no drop off/pull up to front door. We are seniors,and there was no elevator, but front desk was able to get us a room on the 1st floor. We changed out from a King to 2 doubles. That was fine.”

“The hall carpet was filthy and smelt like a zoo. If I was not so tired I should have asked for a different room in a different part of the hotel. Big mistake on my part.”

“Place was clean, but in a medical facility kind of way. Also, woke up to no hot water. Front desk acknowledged no hot water in the kitchen either. Another said it must be that everyone was using hot water at once. I asked if showers by guests at 7:00 am on a weekday was not something they expected. Asked for a credit and the front desk took my number promising to call back. Never did. Emails unanswered. Seems as though this brand is independently owned and managed. I will stay away in...
