“Rooms were clean. Took 25 minutes to check in- I was 2nd in line. Pool was closed. Breakfast was very disappointing: coffee was watered down. No plates at the buffet; we asked as well as several others and were told there were none. No drinks at all (water, OJ, milk: nothing)- asked the front desk if we could get a bottle of water and she said "they're not free" and offered the water fountain down the hall. Overall - I'll take a clean room over a bad breakfast.”

“Fine for a bike overnight on the Blueridge parkway. Nothing fancy but adequate for our needs. Close to to restaurants and quick marts. Reasonable prices but could have had better pillows!”

“There were no amenities except a bottle of water when we checked in. There was no soap, etc in the bathroom and only 2 towels for 3 of us. The parking lot was in poor shape. There were holes in curtains which let light in and the bed spread were thread-bare. We paid a couple of hundred dollars but did not feel safe.”

“We were stayed the night for a VA Tech graduation so it was adequate for our needs. It was not fancy or real nice but clean enough and close enough to the campus to make sense. The walls are super thin and not only could we hear the neighbors all night, but the housekeepers got in a huge fight in the hallway before 9am the following morning. Two women were yelling at each other and dropping F bombs about vacuuming. Very disruptive and unprofessional. Otherwise, it was fine. No elevator but...

“Eventhough we booked through Expedia, a warning about the train horns, and noise at wee hours of the night would help with planning to choose this hotel, coupled with paper thin walls. Breakfast was pretty good. Room size, and double sinks were good.”

“Parking was limited. There was no drop off/pull up to front door. We are seniors,and there was no elevator, but front desk was able to get us a room on the 1st floor. We changed out from a King to 2 doubles. That was fine.”

“The hotel is undergoing renovation. Though it is nicely done, if you have sensitivity to new carpet smell or new paint, then I would not recommend it. Everything is new including furniture, bedding, pillows. Check out is noon but housekeeping came around at 9 AM knocking on doors.”
