“We loved our room. Just needed to stay 1 night to move our daughter out of her dorm...very pleasantly surprised at how big our room was. 2 queen beds & plenty of room to move about. Room was very clean, nice amenities & courteous staff.”

“This place is beautiful. Room and bed were super comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast service was amazing!! Great food and very attentive chef. We have visited twice, and will be back again. ”

“Room was clean, bright, well appointed. Bed was nice and firm. Lavazza coffee was a morning welcome for the trip home. Problem was the phantom flushing toilet that “flushed” every 15 minutes. This was quite unsettling/disruptive.”

“Room outdated old brown carpet all over made it dark and gloomy. Paint chipped. Worse part was the shower pressure was awful. I tried to get a room change but got the run around. They finally sent the “manager” who came to try and fix it ran the water and said it was ok that even he had low pressure at his home. I showed him the shower head he said it was fine that’s it. Then I showed him the condition of the bathroom mold and stains and he said nothing. Honestly for a chain hotel this was...

“Breakfast and clean room”

“It was a functionally nice, extremely clean hotel. The staff was very friendly (shout out to Crystal at the front desk) and the morning breakfast delivered way more than expected. But there should be more than DirectTV that loses signal when it rains, especially at the higher rate we paid because of the graduation events happening in the area. Also no iron in the room. Would I go back? Yes but I’d take my laptop so I can watch streaming services the hotel doesn’t have.”

“Some of the staff didn’t appear to understand English which made communication difficult. Chairs & wall were splattered with some liquid in the room. Someone threw up on Thursday in a hallway & it was still there Friday night.”

“The room was fine and was able to meet our needs especially since we had a small dog. Thanks for accommodating him as well. The extra fee was reasonable.”

“First, we grossly overpaid because it was graduation weekend and I rented 3 rooms. All the carpet needs to be ripped out. The breakfast and coffee are terrible so don’t pay for that. Not all the toilets in the lobby are functional. Water pressure bad and the temperature isn’t set to allow the water to go very hot or they don’t have the hot water capacity. We had leftover Carol Lee donuts and graduation cupcakes in a box that were covered in ants in the morning. When I went to tell the staff,...

“Hotel was conveniently located to the Virginia Tech campus. Staff were friendly. It the internet did not work very well at all - which was problematic. Room was ok but the hotel jacked up prices due to graduation and we paid over $500 per night for a >3 star experience. Breakfast was ok.”

“The hotel is undergoing renovation. Though it is nicely done, if you have sensitivity to new carpet smell or new paint, then I would not recommend it. Everything is new including furniture, bedding, pillows. Check out is noon but housekeeping came around at 9 AM knocking on doors.”
