“This property seems as kept up as possible considering the age. However, you’re hit in the face with a combination of cigarettes and weed the moment you enter. It appears that at least a third of the property has permanent residents. The entrance I was told to use has a door with a broken lock and the panic bar zip tied open with a sign simply saying door lock broken don’t use. “First, we grossly overpaid because it was graduation weekend and I rented 3 rooms. All the carpet needs to be ripped out. The breakfast and coffee are terrible so don’t pay for that. Not all the toilets in the lobby are functional. Water pressure bad and the temperature isn’t set to allow the water to go very hot or they don’t have the hot water capacity. We had leftover Carol Lee donuts and graduation cupcakes in a box that were covered in ants in the morning. When I went to tell the staff,...

“This place is beautiful. Room and bed were super comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast service was amazing!! Great food and very attentive chef. We have visited twice, and will be back again. ”

“Room was clean, bright, well appointed. Bed was nice and firm. Lavazza coffee was a morning welcome for the trip home. Problem was the phantom flushing toilet that “flushed” every 15 minutes. This was quite unsettling/disruptive.”

“In the bedroom is huge tab that hasn’t been mentioned. The doors outside are not looked and anyone could get easily inside. Our room was on the first floor, and the window wouldn’t lock at all. The place feels very unsecured, even though outside and inside there notifications that security cameras in use. BS. only very strong halogen lights from outside that wouldn’t let you fall asleep. “The staff was great, the premises were in great condition, and breakfast was very good.”

“Hotel was conveniently located to the Virginia Tech campus. Staff were friendly. It the internet did not work very well at all - which was problematic. Room was ok but the hotel jacked up prices due to graduation and we paid over $500 per night for a >3 star experience. Breakfast was ok.”

“Some of the staff didn’t appear to understand English which made communication difficult. Chairs & wall were splattered with some liquid in the room. Someone threw up on Thursday in a hallway & it was still there Friday night.”
