“We loved our room. Just needed to stay 1 night to move our daughter out of her dorm...very pleasantly surprised at how big our room was. 2 queen beds & plenty of room to move about. Room was very clean, nice amenities & courteous staff.”

“This property seems as kept up as possible considering the age. However, you’re hit in the face with a combination of cigarettes and weed the moment you enter. It appears that at least a third of the property has permanent residents. The entrance I was told to use has a door with a broken lock and the panic bar zip tied open with a sign simply saying door lock broken don’t use. Had to walk through a smoke party at the door to even get to the room that also provided a contact buzz. If this is...

“It was dirty, smell and everything. The sheet (I think unwashed) had a cig burn. There were ants. I paid and then was told to go to a separate building outback. We were so tired, but tucked stu to sleep. EweDidn't use the shower, it was disgusting.”

“Some of the staff didn’t appear to understand English which made communication difficult. Chairs & wall were splattered with some liquid in the room. Someone threw up on Thursday in a hallway & it was still there Friday night.”

“Bedroom was fine - reasonably comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a different story. Hairs in the shower when we arrived so obviously had not been cleaned. Bathroom wreaked of cat pee. Hot water was barely lukewarm - goosebumps in the shower. When we addressed the water with the staff, the response was “well we are full”. Unacceptable answer. ”

“This place is beautiful. Room and bed were super comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast service was amazing!! Great food and very attentive chef. We have visited twice, and will be back again. ”

“There were no amenities except a bottle of water when we checked in. There was no soap, etc in the bathroom and only 2 towels for 3 of us. The parking lot was in poor shape. There were holes in curtains which let light in and the bed spread were thread-bare. We paid a couple of hundred dollars but did not feel safe.”

“Hotel was conveniently located to the Virginia Tech campus. Staff were friendly. It the internet did not work very well at all - which was problematic. Room was ok but the hotel jacked up prices due to graduation and we paid over $500 per night for a >3 star experience. Breakfast was ok.”
