We do understand that you requested a receipt that would show details of what you paid to Expedia was provided by the Front Desk the hotel's receipt that showed a zero balance and no additional charges. We would have to reiterate the Front Desk staffing in stating that whenever a guest prepays their stay through Expedia, the only the receipt we can provide upon check-out is a zero balance receipt showing there are no additional charges at our hotel. For a receipt detailing what you paid to Expedia, you would only be able to receive that from Expedia. Dear Katlyn, Your false claims are not even remotely indicative of the normal guest experience at our hotel based on the numerous positive traveler reviews we have. You called and spoke to a manager the day after you checked out to inquire about the 50 hold on your credit card and were told it was released upon check out from our end. You then went on to say you felt disrespected by the lady who checked you in because you were asked to provide a credit card for incidentals, and proceeded to say how awful she was to you during your 5 night stay with us. Upon further investigation after the initial phone call it was discovered that during your 5-night stay you indicated no issues at all to a single hotel staff member or any member of management. We reviewed our video surveillance system as well as spoke with all hotel staff members and were unable to validate any of your claims. You never once asked anyone for new sheets, you never once asked anyone for a set of towels, you never once said anything to anyone about bugs, you never once brought any bugs to anyone at the front desk or to any other staff members for that matter, and you never once asked a staff member for another room. After you spoke to a manager the day after you checked-out, we even had our pest control company come out for an emergency inspection of the room you stayed in. They tore the room apart looking for bugs and found none, along with no evidence of any being in the room. We find it incredibly disheartening and very disappointing that you would go to such drastic lengths to create such false claims in hopes of receiving money back from our hotel.
