  • Our Castaway by the sea is the perfect way to escape the noisy crowds and discover peace and tranquility in this hidden gem on the island. This gated, ocean view property, located on a one-acre island oasis on the southern tip of new providence is lush with tropical trees, palms, island landscape, coral rocks, and of course the gorgeous sea views. This newly renovated beach-themed villa is fully equipped. We can also recommend car rental options as a vehicle is a must at this location.



    This is an ocean-front property, not a beach-front property. There is no sand, just the natural coral reef rocks leading out to the beautiful water. Guests love to lay in the lounge chairs and enjoy the view. The water is gorgeous and great for kayaking and swimming. Care must be taken when exploring the oceanfront area as the rocks are sharp. We try to preserve as much of nature's beauty as possible.

    Even though the island of new providence is only 21x7 miles and everything is close if you have a vehicle, you will absolutely need a car to get around from our getaway property. We are 15 minutes away from the supermarket and 27 minutes from the airport, Baha Mar and Cable Beach, downtown, and 30 minutes from The Atlantis on Paradise Island.

    Free parking for one vehicle is included.

    Our goal is to provide you with an amazing experience and help you enjoy your stay. Observing Our House Rules helps us to protect you, our neighbors and our home.



    - We love feedback. Let us know how we can make your stay better.



    - Check-In time (after 3:30 pm) and Checkout time (by 10 am) are firm. Our cleaning agent will arrive promptly at 10am to prepare for our next guest.



    - Parties, events, and gatherings are not permitted in any of our units.



    - Only registered guests are allowed to visit or use property facilities.



    - NO SMOKING inside the unit - Heavy fines for evidence of smoking.



    - No pets allowed.



    - Park only in your designated spot. You can find details in the Welcome Guide.



    - Quiet time after 10 pm - Please be considerate of our neighbors and minimize loud noises.



    - Help us conserve energy and turn off ACs and lights when leaving for extended periods.

Great getaway

Nice host, checked in with us multiple times during our stay. There was a great view of the ocean. The rental is a little off the beaten path, but it was a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Unit was as described and the pictures gave an honest impression.

Wonderful stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! All amenities were available, the unit was clean and check in a breeze. Any questions were quickly answered. We loved the short walk to the water and spent evenings on the recliners watching the waves. The place is small, but for two of us, it was great. It is a little bit out of town, but that's what we wanted. We felt secure, comfortable and relaxed. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Hideaway

My experience renting this property was great. The apprtment was clean and nicely appointed and the location is "far from the maddening crowd". Contact with the host was very good whether it be by email, text or phone and resolutions were quick. The location is not easiest to reach but thats the idea, I definitely will return in the future.

They have several properties around nassau, however this location is quite isolated. This location would be best for someone who wants to be in a secluded area away from the touristy things. If you do plan to stay here but would still like to go to famous public beaches, like Junankoo, or do excursions like atv or island tours, then it’s best to have your own car as many taxi drivers dont like coming to the area since its a bit far. Otherwise, the place is clean and cozy. The host responds quickly and is there to help with any concerns.
