Hotel vicino a National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes - Emmitsburg

“The room was clean but the it was too noisy, you can hear everyone talking and yelling from the corridor, vibrations from mechanical units and since they have golf classes, you can hear everyone outside yelling and practicing golf very early in the morning, also, there were not elevators (accessibility) in our building ,I paid almost 300 dollars for one night and we couldn’t even get some sleep. If your goal is to get some rest and sleep, this is not the place for you.”

“Checked in at 2:45am Although I could not requet a "wake-up"call, I slept like a baby & naturally woke up at 6:45am. ”

“The lodge was wonderful! Everything was clean and very well presented. The room was spacious and perfect for my disabled husband (we had the ADA lodge). The outdoor area was clean and a great place to relax. The staff members I interacted with were friendly and very helpful. Plan to visit again when we can stay for more than one night!”

“Very nice property first time my wife and I stayed there. Unfortunately when we checked in the receptionist told us that if we would’ve went directly through them, it would’ve been cheaper than using Expedia. I thought Expedia was the best deal? live and learn.”

“Apparently a staff member called out for work. I'm assuming it was the person in charge who kept complaining to any employee within earshot about this person calling out. Offended she had blocked her call. This person obviously needed the day off for personal reasons and did not want to take your call harrassing her to come in anyway. And as a guest, I definitely didn't need to hear about the situation through my entire breakfast. Unprofessional.”

“Pillows nearly unusable…way too hard. Needed a step stool to get into bed. Made to feel like second class citizen when it came to breakfast seating…the couple who greeted us were really nice…the cook not so much”

“I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels up and down Route 30 in PA and this was my least favorite so far. After checking out and going to my car, there was an employee dumping a large tub of something from the side door that went over the parking lot. It was the grease from breakfast! There was no way around it and it was slippery and the dog also had to walk in it. Absolutely disgusting, unsafe, and unprofessional. While pet friendly and there is an elevator, there is only one small area out back...

“The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

“Great little Inn with so much character. Only one bathroom upstairs. I was traveling with my mom, so it was a little tough to get her up and down the stairs. Central location and was perfect. The rooms were wonderful with plenty of space and comfortable bedding. ”
