“Didn’t get to code on time to get checked in. Waited 20 min at the door in the heat. Someone who lived at the property let us in. I reached out to them earlier in the day to ask for an earlier check in because my mom wasn’t feeling well. I literally had to argue with the rep to give us more towels. The refused to give me another blanket. Apartment is not handicapped accessible. Had to walk 4 flights of stairs with luggage and my elderly mother. The whole process the worst ever. “Rooftop Movie theater looked fun during the daytime, but wasn’t committed enough to buy a ticket after sunset. Rooms were fine. Coffee shop was short-staffed the day I was there - to the point I gave up and moved on. The staff I ran into in the hotel from housekeeping to front desk to bell staff were all universally pleasant and helpful. “Hotel in good location - not far from Union Station or Downtown. Staff l interacted with were really welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean and great that there was a microwave on the floor near the elevator (handy when we took too long with our pizza slices from Whole Foods!) Breakfast served in the downstairs restaurant was great with plenty of options available and a rare (in USA anyway) late finish time for breakfast which meant l could have a lay in and eat at our leisure.
