“One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. We booked their most expensive suite — supposedly their best — and it was a letdown from the moment we walked in. The fridge was broken. The room was missing basic amenities you’d expect at this price point. Tea was served only when we asked for it, and the cookies that came with it were stale. “The location advertised was problematic. It also shows it is in Dehradun which is over 30 miles away. For me, this caused problems with my taxi as I wanted to go to Rishikish (it is also advertised being in Rishikesh), whereas the taxi driver complained of it being far away in Dehradun (near Jolly Grant airport)”

“Area around the property was a bit dirty with lots of Animal droppings. The service provided was courteous and friendly from both the owner and the attendant Ayush.”

“Property is beautifully located on the river front with river views from the room and relatively quiet surroundings. Staff was friendly, my big disappointment was rooms were not sound proof, so could clearly hear people talking and kids crying in the other room as if it was happening in my room.”

The 2 boys tried to be helpful but the hotel is being run down. They have outsourced the food so you cant just buy Chi. You have to buy food with it and on Tuesday they wanted me to break my fast so I could have Chi. Very sad.”

“The entire holy town of Rishikesh needs an overhauling and transformation like Varanasi has witnessed lately. The same is applicable to this hotel property too! A constant upgradation is a must in order to survive this competitive industry. The reason why Thailand is being preferred over Goa or Kerala by Indian tourists is not monetary only but also has to do with the service quality and facilities.”

“Location is amazing… very peaceful and right next to the ghat, which connects to Triveni Ghat. Perfect for aarti or just sitting by the river at night. But the room description is misleading, especially for the price you pay. They mention “lake view with balcony,” and honestly, I don’t understand what made them write lake view—there is no lake, it’s the Ganga river.
